Amazing stay VERY close to NYC

It was an amazing stay for us. We had been a big group to spend 10 days in NYC and this house was amazing! Most important for us: Close to NYC - especially during the rush hour every 3 min a bus left for the city. We had some cooking parties and our hosts had been so kind and amazing! Big recommendation especially for large groups!

Amazing location and space, top tier communication

Our stay cancelled 4 days before we found this lovely place and both Angie and Greg were basically the definition of an ideal host. Communicative, helpful, very clear about boundaries, and accommodating. The space itself is gorgeous and frankly absolutely HUGE. I knew I was booking a place with crazy amount of bedrooms but man, there's 3 kitchens!!! Overall, our stay was almost completely unproblematic and we all had a marvelous time. Only thing I'd say to look out for is that parking in Jersey City is kind of tough; the parking lot we were told to go to didn't have enough spots for us right away so we had to wait for 15min or so to get the last person parked. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and I feel blessed that my original reservation got cancelled because this place was beyond my wildest dreams for the weekend we spent there. Thanks Greg and Angie!

Big house with a few failings

First of all, the house was very big and Greg was a very polite and responsable host. The communication with him has always been uncomplicated. Unfortunately, the house was not that clean as we had expected. There were still dirty dishes in the dishwasher and also in the cupboard as we arrived. Furthermore the oven and the fan looked very unappetizing. Additionally, the furniture was a little old and a few things were broken (e.g. one of the chairs). The plugbar in the kitchen didn‘t work as well and we had a few problems getting hot water in the shower on second floor. Due to an accident, the balcony was locked so that we couldnt enjoy the view from there. Besides being mentioned in the description, there is no whirlpool in the house. The beds were comfortable und the wifi was great. If you travel to Times square by bus, the ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Busses arrive right next to the house every few minutes. All in all, there is a lot of space in this house but we think the cleanness and the furniture could be improved in some parts of the house.
