We had a very nice stay in Villa Bougainville. The rooms and the lobby are very stylish, with beatifull furniture and assecoires. The service is really good, even as the breakfast and the free Happy Time snacks. It was lovely. PS: love the hard working breakfast lady!
We had a very nice stay in this hotel! Very kind people, beatifull design and a lovely breakfast. Good location next to the station. Very clean, nice afternoon snacks and good service: Nescafe coffee, umbrella and they want to answer all your questions. When you search a good hotel in Nice for a good price, choose Villa Bougainville!
Very clean bathroom and room. Location is about a 10-15min walk from the beach promenade. 3-5 min walk from the main Nice train station. Single rooms are very small but sufficient. Overall nice place and would recommend.
We stayed five nights at Villa Bougainville. The staff was so friendly & happy to help all the time. The location of the hotel is good. Quality price ratio was excellent. Thanks to the hotel and staff, we really enjoyed our stay
Do you enjoy booking a holiday and being extremely disappointed with the quality you received once there? If so, this place is for you! This sham of a four star hotel offers you unlimited noise from both outside and inside the hotel. Whether it's slamming doors of all hours of the nights, strangers outside arguing below on the street or the cleaning ladies or elevator keeping you awake, you get the full experience of being awake at night. Staff and manager are extremely incompetent of the needs of guests. Over the stay of three nights, we had to ASK for refills of instant coffee and cups for the coffee every morning. One morning we had to call reception THREE times. They offer a 14€ breakfast you can purchase, but honestly you're better off walking down the street to Paul based off the quality of food they offer. The manager is extremely rude and enjoys arguing. This was part of an Easy jet package, otherwise I would never stay here. If you're out and about and only plan on sleeping here, it'll do. You'll have a laugh about the quality of the place once you leave, including when pieces of the shower fall off for no reason.
Beautifully styled rooms and lobby, really very friendly and helpful reception staff, always willing to help with information or anything else. Nice touch - make yourself coffee in the lobby any time you like. I also find it a good idea to "go green" (decline housekeeping service). Very clean, too. I know the staff can't do anything about it.But future guests should be aware of two major issues: air conditioning and noise. First, there is no air conditioning although the hotel says so on their homepage or on Booking.com - whatever it is on the ceiling, it works only for heating, not for cooling. Second, all the room doors as well as bathroom and closet doors in the house close really loudly, even if not intentionally. So be prepared to wake up each time any of those doors are being closed in the rooms near yours or above yours. The elevator, too, makes really loud sound when stopping. Plus, in case your room is facing the railway+highway+car parking side, you will definitely need ear-plugs to be able to sleep, even with closed windows. End of march there also were some construction works going on on the tracks, some nights as late as midnight.
Friend and I had a very enjoyable stay here last week. The staff were delightful and couldn't have been more helpful - tips on getting to places we wanted to go, sorting out WIFI, re-confirming our transfer back to airport on our behalf. The room was small but spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. When you walked into the hotel it smelt beautiful and the decor was delightful. (A shame the delivery of coffee pods for the reception machine never arrived as the coffee was delicious and only managed one cup when we first arrived - but nevermind!!) The breakfast room was being refurbished and we had to used the facilities at next door Villa Ofero Happy Culture. The breakfast was delicious but I have to say the staff there weren't nearly as happy, smiley and friendly as in Villa Bougainville. Maybe they were over worked with serving breakfast to two hotels!!!
This was our first visit to Nice. What a wonderful place and what a lovely hotel to stay. Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Felt at home straight away. Our room was on the fourth floor but don't worry there is a lift although it holds only three people at one time. Room was very adequate clean and comfortable. The hotel is only a short walk to the train station where you can travel into Monaco which is only eight miles away. Take another short walk from there and you can take a tram to the Old Town of Nice or to the Promenade des Anglais. These trams are very frequent and very cheap.
The hotel is near train station with nice and friendly staffs, the hotel style is warm and like home. I can walk to shopping street and go to beach. the bathroom accessories can improve. And room furniture can be better.
Nice, clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. I do recommend. Also location next to train station suited us well. Room was small but nice and clean. Bed good. Outside is quite noisy and hotel offers ear plugs for sensitive people. We had no problem with noise. Free Wifi was working well.
