This hotel is located on the main promenade and is close by to many restaurants and is about 15 minutes walk from Old town. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are excellent, very friendly and informative. The rooms are clean and very comfortable.

This is a very beautiful and excellent hotel, very well located and prepared for tourists from all around the world. The staff is very friendly and well prepared to assist I every ways, specially one of the reception managers that speaks every possible language (even Portuguese!) and that helped us very much with the rooms reservation problem that we had by the time we checked in, very nice guy! There is also a very friendly Brazilian waiter in the breakfast that gave us very good recommendations about the city. The rooms are very good, with all kind of amenities that a guest may need (even power plug adapters, that are very useful), great bathroom and a large shower. The only things that need improvements are the size of the king size bed in the standard rooms, that were small for a tall guy like me, and also the breakfast that should have more fruits options...but the rest is fantastic, I definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Hyatt. For a mostly business oriented stay, the hotel seemed to think of everything we needed--complimentary use of travel converters, lots of outlets, nightlights on both sides of the bed, metal windowshades for better shuteye, and a helpful concierge to direct you where you needed to go. Definitely get a room facing the sea, as the sunrises are not to be missed. Our room was extremely quiet and I'm not sure whether that would change during the summer when more people are bound to be enjoying the outdoor lounge and pool, but the patio door seemed to cut out quite a bit of noise. If we return to Nice, we would definitely stay at the Hyatt again.

The Hyatt Regency is located right on the main strip of beach and in walking distance to anywhere in Nice you’d want to go. The rooms are large and have nice balconies, and the food options are pretty good. The gym is fairly lame, but it’s hard to expect much. Overall, it’s one of the better places to stay given the convenience.

Very clean property with pleasant and helpful staff. This location is at the center of it all on the waterfront, great easy walking distance to Old Town (10 min casual walk), food, and shops. Room was quiet and well equipped with more than the usual amenities, and those provided were very nice quality.

The location is right on Promenade des Anglais, east of Place Massena and just west of the Old Town. For us, it was perfect! Check-in was very smooth (our timing at the dinner hour may have had something to do with it). Charlotte and company at the Front Desk spoke English and Spanish very well. The room was well-appointed with a balcony that is actually usable. The partial ocean views overlook the open area above the outdoor portion of the pool. If you look at the front facade of the property, you see pillars and below floor 6, you are looking through these pillars at the sea, still lovely, but not totally unobstructed. Breakfast was tasty, well above average, but not free on our particular rate. The young man making the omelettes (sorry, forgot your name) was attentive and his creations were perfectly done! It is a good option if you want a more hearty meal than a cafe and croissant or you are not a fan of the wonderful Scottish restaurant on the next block! (McDonalds! I can't take credit for that joke! Thanks, Vincent, Concierge!) Now, to the concierge staff. Wow! Knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic! Vincent was vital to our experience. We made wholesale changes to our plan at his direction and every single one was the right move for the weather, season and what we wanted out of the French Riviera on this trip. Thank you, Vincent! They are 4 on their staff with 2 members of Les Clefs d'Or including Vincent which speaks to their commitment to the art of the hotel concierge. And the last thing that will have me returning to this property when in Nice again? I left a credit card and commuter card behind in the safe. The front office and guest services staff contacted me the following day after we checked out. They were willing to send the cards to my home, but, in the end, it was easier to have them destroyed and replaced by the issuers. This was handled very professionally with assurances that a) I wanted the cards destroyed, and b) that they were indeed appropriately disposed of.

A lovely hotel with the most service minded staff I’ve ever met (including the man who helped us with luggage, receptionist & concergie) And the location just splendid. We also had the luck to get a room on 9:th floor with seaview, absolutley stunning. The stay exceeded our expactions!

I had only 2 nights to spend in Nice with strictly business agenda and really no time to loiter around or any leisure activities. I arrived in the evening and expected nothing more than some excercise and a bite to eat and to put it short - the hotel delivered. The Gym is small but well equipped for my cardiovascular needs. In the same level as the gym you have an access to pool area which is divided in two sections: other with just the pool and the other (you can swim under the dividing wall to the other side) with fancy bar & terasse. Even though I did not get to spend any time on the terasse, it has a splendid view to the sea and La Promenade des Anglais. You can have a snack & bar food from the hotel’s restaurant conveniently late when most of the local restaurant have closed their kitchen - I had a burger which was totally satisfactory. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful with a reasonable price (if it’s not included to the room). And most the rooms have excellent views: you can either have a mountain or a sea-front view, whichever suits your needs. I really enjoyed my mountain view and slept like a baby in my extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom facilities are 5/5. The staff is friendly and really professional: everything you need to arrange in short notice will be arranged in seemingly effortless manner. Hotel Hyatt Regency Palais de la Mediterranee deserves my recommendation to the fullest.
