Nice is a beautiful place and the Hyatt Regency is a lovely hotel, but the reason this hotel stands out above the rest is simply the wonderful service. The service at the Hyatt Regency, Nice is outstanding. The staff cannot do enough for you and you feel very much looked after. The Concierge Service went above and beyond expectation and really go the extra mile to assist you. Great place, great staff. Thank you!

The bar has a romantic lighting set up and a live piano player who manages to play popsongs without killing them. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the cocktails and chocolate milks were great. The pool outside also has a great view.

Front entrance to hotel constantly blocked with parked vehicles. Carpet in hallways are stained, rooms were not cleaned well. Hotel is quite old needs to be renovated. NO clock in guest room. Hotel does not live up to the Hyatt Regency quality and the rooms are very expensive. On the good side great location staff and services were superb. Concierge excellent

I can't say enough about our 3 day stay at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais. everything was first class, from the spotless and well appointed rooms to the restaurants, lounges and pool, to the lobby. But the 6th star goes to the staff of the hotel, especially the concierge desk. We were given every courtesy, granted every request and saved money thanks to the useful tips given by the concierge staff. Special shout-out to Vincent, who was more than helpful - he felt more like family! It's worth every dollar and is actually a great deal considering what you get for the price.

Location, location, location...This was a great place to spend my husband's birthday for 7 days. The proximity to the promenade, beach, and the warmth of the hotel staff made this a memorable vacation. The housekeepers doted on us, the concierge assisted us with the bikes for rental, and the free cocktails helped when we arrived before our room was ready. Would stay here again, and again.

The hotel was right next to the Promenade des anglais and the beach, great views and great hospitality. The valets, porters, front desk and housekeeping went above and beyond to assist us with any questions we had.

We returned to this hotel after 5 years and found it as pleasant and clean as it was then. Wonderful for kids and the pool never seemed overcrowded. The fact that it is within walking distance to the waterpark and mundamar is an added bonus. All the staff are so lovely and the food was great, even our 10 year old loved the food.

We spent 6 days here and had a fantastic stay. The rooms are well appointed and bathroom is large. Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. The position of the hotel is also very good. The concierge staff are outstanding with their restaurant recommendations as well as their efficient service. Made our stay such a pleasure.

The location of this hotel can't be beat, right on the promenade and on the closer side to old town. The room we ended up with (i'll explain this in a bit) was nice enough, quite large and the bathroom was nice. We didn't spend too much time in the hotel so can't comment too much on the facilities, but the pictures of the pool is SUCH A LIE. I thought it would be much bigger but it's literally the tiniest pool for such a grand looking hotel. Our favorite part of the stay was getting advice from the daytime concierge, who is an extremely nice gentleman who clearly takes pride in his job. He gave us many good recommendations and made lots of phone calls to inquire about beach club availability. The same thing cannot be said of the night time lady concierge, who gave us incorrect information and was the opposite of friendly. We had a car and she told us this restaurant we went to did not have a valet, so we decided to walk and then take an uber back. We get there and what do I see? A valet.... I think the hyatt is supposed to be one of the top hotels in Nice, so....if you're a concierge in a top hotel you should know these things or at least offer to call to check. One other thing that wasn't great is that our room wasn't ready until late, over an hour after official check in time (they did do the right thing and offer us vouchers for drinks on the house). When they did have our room ready, it was right next to the elevator (IMO terrible location), we had to ask for a room change, and they did give it to us, but just took even more time. All in all, i think this is a good choice if you're visiting Nice, but maybe try to only ask questions to the day time concierge!

I stayed in the hotel for the weekend with my dad as a fathers day treat, it was fantastic! You cannot fault the location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, bar and there was a casino next door, not more you could want for! Bryce on the concierge desk was amazing, couldn't do enough for you, in fact all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were lovely, beding was so soft it was hard to get up in the morning! I would definately recommend talking the bus on your airport runs, we took a taxi from Nice to the hotel which cost 35Euro but the bus back was only 6Euro per person and so easy and convenient. Had a couple fo drinks in Le Galet, across the road on the beach which was lovely, no wait for a table if just drinking and i thought the prices were reasonable considering location. We ate at the following restaurants which are no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel: Cafe de Nice which was lovely, staff were so friendly, both ordered off of the specials, Moules marinière and Seafood Risotto, bottle of red wine and a cheese to share (more than enough for 2 people) came to about 60Euro. Le Lodge, again lovely evening, live singer, food was fine (not the best but nothing to grumble about), 3 course menu with bottle of wine was approx 70Euro On our final day we had a late lunch and ate at La Pizza Cresci, great choice! Best pizza! We had a fantastic and precious weekend that I will not forget.
