Spent 3 nights at the hotel in November. It is central located and easily accessible from the 98 bus. Breakfasts were good and staff helpful and friendly. Our room was due a refurb but was clean. However the room was noisy not due to road traffic but from adjoining rooms including above. This meant little sleep. If you are a heavy sleeper definitely a 4 star.

This is the most beautiful of building with original high ceilings, doors and decoration of its time. Yes it is tired looking now but the friendly reception guy was wonderful. We got very good service, personal attention and when we returned for our bags and sat in the lounge for a while he was still so friendly and accommodating as I needed my phone charging. The room was small yet very clean, lovely crisp white sheets and towels and minimum toiletries. As with some older buildings you can here your neighbors in the closest rooms but that is part of being in these lovely old unrestored buildings. We did not try the breakfast as expensive and you can find many places in the town centre, particularly by the flower market to soak up the local atmosphere.

The entrance to the hotel is lovely and we were fortunate to have a double room on the front with a Juliette balcony. The room was reasonably spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was served until 10.30 and offered a good selection of cereals, cold cuts, breads, pastries, fruit, as well as bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. The Old Town, Place Massena and the Promenade des Anglais are all a few minutes flat walk from the hotel and there are a number of restaurants close by - try the Cantine de Lulu!

Small rooms with minimum appliances, not well maintained, it was hot the AC was not working, unpleasant nights. The staff were nice, furniture very old and detoriorating. It is not for young couples nor a happy hotel. Not recommenced

Hotel Vendome is beautiful. The entrance hall and exterior in particular, have the wow factor. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room we were in was clean and lovely enough. It was small and basic, but had everything we needed from a secure safe and electrical sockets to a mini-fridge and a kettle. The bathroom was clean and again, lovely enough. Unfortunately the shower was cold. We didn't try breakfast as could get it for a better price elsewhere. Location was perfect. Short walk from the train station, the beach and Old Town. All in all, very good.

I got a lot of bites when i stayed in the hotell. I had to sleep with the windows open because the AC was turned off byt the management. I might have gotten mosquito bites but I'm afraid that it was bed bugs.

This is a very attractive hotel, located less than a ten minute walk from Nice old town and Cours Saleya and the beach. In the other direction is a short walk to the main shopping area. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Reception staff were very helpful. There was a good choice at breakfast, although the breakfast area was a little cramped at peak times.

The worst breakfast I ever had: very poor buffet with an horrible machine making horrible espresso/ cappuccino or something similar.Receptionist ( a man)not very polite; for the first time In my life the room I have booked It was available since 3 p.m.., so when I arrived at 1 pm I had to use wc for staff cleaning.

The hotel is a square shaped château about 600 metres from The main street of the new Town and about 10 minutes walk from the old town. There is car parking around the enclosed area of the hotel which the staff organise for you. All the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is hot and cold buffet with plentiful fresh fruit and cereals. The rooms are bright and very comfortable with free safety deposit box and small fridge. We stayed 11 nights and really enjoyed our stay.

A little away from the old city and the corniche, but with a local feeling. Rather unwelcoming courtyard, but interior is a wood-rich, somewhat ornate. Rooms small and a little noisy (unsurprising given the narrow corridors) but clean and with good air con. Free wifi. Friendly and efficient reception. Breakfast room a little cramped, but everything we had was fine (don't expect great coffee).
