I stayed here for 3 nights. Plus: location, small living room, rooms are good, we had our own bathroom in our 4 bed dorm. Breakfast not that great. They have a kitchen, why do they put plastic trays and dishes out for breakfast? really not environmentally friendly. Some hooks in the bathroom would be great and the shower was easily clogged. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and the reception staff was always nice.
I stayed here with my friend in August for 4 days over a weekend for our first trip to southern France and I was extremely impressed. Location was amazing, only steps from the beach, right next to a grocery store and many restaurants. Only about a 10 minute walk to the main square. The hostel itself has really friendly and caring staff who are attentive to your needs and very informative. They speak great English. The rooms were VERY clean. One of the cleanest hostels I have ever seen, and include wifi, towels, air con and a full kitchenette. We did not spend too much time in the common area as we were busy our exploring but on the last day used it for breakfast and was very satisfied. It had all essential cooking appliances and items you need. They had wifi throughout which didn't always work perfectly, but I wasn't in Nice to sit there on the internet anyways. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone staying on a budget for a short holiday in Nice.
Had booked this hostel for 2 days. One of the good hostels I have stayed in across Europe and South-east Asia. | Nice and clean facilities | Good wi-fi | Friendly staff | Proximity to beach, Supermarkets, City center. | Kitchen facilities | Free breakfast (This was reasonably good-Cereals, Croissants, Cake, Tea/Coffee/ Juice)
This is my third time here at the hotel. Which should say something! The location is top notch! A few blocks from the beach, and the promenade! The dorm room I got was on the first floor, which was decent sized. The beds were kinda shaky though, the person in bottom bunk could feel when the person in the top bunk moved. The bathroom were small as well. The door to the room doesn´t close properly, which is a security risk though! The breakfast was very small, but free. Should you stay here? Yes you should!
I had a chance to stay at this hostel for 5 days during my vacation in Nice. I can say that I was more than pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness of the hostel and especially the friendliness of staff! The front office managers were very caring, always smiled, answered all my questions and recommended some really cool places to see and even explained how to get there in detail. Another very good point is the location of the hostel. In my opinion, it was perfect: 3 minutes by foot to the beach, 10 minutes walking to the very city center, and even such important things as supermarkets and pharmacy were very close. Definitely recommended!
I stayed two nights and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was good 😊 the best experience in my point of view is not just good rooms or the facilities, i think those are basics and need to be good but what make you experience best is the way team take care of you and provide all the details. I would specifically like to mention Elsa's name as she was super helpful not to me but to everyone who ask any detail. Nice being close to Monaco and Cannes everyone want to know more and more details about all the three places and she provided all the informations repeatedly with patience and smile. Very Gud job Elsa you will rise soon to a bigger role - Tx u everyone for the support and making my stay a comfortable one.
Really friendly staff and clean rooms and common room. So close to the beach! Really enjoyed my stay here. Can't recommend it enough. They offer free walking tours of the city which are really inciteful and help yojesnr about the old town. They have bar crawls at night which is nice for meeting other people in the hostel!
The concierge was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The hostel was super busy, but everyone was there to have fun. It is in a good location, close to the beach, and they even offered free beach towels! The rooms were very nice and modern, with bathrooms in the rooms. I would not recommend the walking tour- the guide seemed very uninterested and gave a lot of useless information.
Hostel Meyerbeer Beach is located just five minutes away from the Congres bus stop on the Promenade in Nice. It is only 30 minutes away by bus from the Nice airport while the Gare de Nice is just a leisurely 7-10 minutes walk from the hostel. I picked a Private double room and it was sufficiently big for two persons. The bathroom might have been a little small but had hot water in the shower. The hostel serves free breakfast with tea and coffee between 8 and 11am. The kitchen is also open till 1130pm and guests can cook or heat up dishes there. The hostel is located on the first and second floor but the lift is not for the hostel. There are plenty of nice places to eat and drink around the hostel, a Carrefour right next door and nice market on the way to Galleries Lafayette. The stay was quite comfortable and rooms have AC for those hot summer days as well. If you want a cheap and reasonable option in Nice...this is the place.
Perfectly well located, just one block away from Promenade des Anglais and a straight path walking distance to the train station (Nice Ville). Beautiful place, comfortable, suite rooms (even the shared ones are suites which counts a lot of points for me) and they even offer some free snacks in the morning. Price, location, organization, cleaness, everything was the way it should be. I loved it. Just missed a hair dryer in the bathroom, they could think about it. Oh, and you have a small fridge in the room. Not all places are good like this.
