I must admit I was actually a little surprised by this property. I was only here for four nights so I wasn’t looking for anything fancy but kinda fancy is what I got.... Great location with private beach and super near some great dining. Rooms are spacious with amenities one wouldn’t expect in a Holiday Inn. Large rooms with private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. I would certainly return and recommend.
When I was booked at a Holiday Inn for a recent trip, I had to admit I was a touch trepidatious. Holiday Inn generally means not quite so nice to me. I was wrong in this case. The hotel was very nice and located right in the boardwalk, a short distance to the ocean. It has a nice garden area outside. The lobby was very nice, the staff friendly and the rooms clean. The breakfast was complete and good, but pretty tasty. The one quibble I had is that one day I came back to my room and it was hot (27C), so I called the front desk. They sent someone up who played with the thermostat and told me to open the window. After about an hour it was still warm, so he came back up. He told me to open the window more and after a bit of coaxing, told me that the rooms did not have AC and the thermostat had been set for heat with the fan on. If I had been told that earlier I would’ve opened up all of the windows! Not your typical Holiday Inn - a pleasant stay in Nice!
Stayed for couple of days and was very happy with the level of service and rooms. Got a big room with balcony view to the sea. Room looked very clean and nicely decorated. It seems like they are keeping this property at top shape. The staff was great and helped with excellent recommendations for food and sight seeing.
It was my second stay at this hotel with my brother. The main reason we chose this hotel again is mainly because of its ideal location and friendly staff. Nearby you can find plenty of restaurants and stores and shopping centres. Nice beach and the famous promenade des Anglias within 6-7-min walking distance. Nice old town is also easily accessible from the hotel (6-7 min easy walk). Breakfast could be better. All in all I had an enjoyable stay there!
Stayed for 2 weeks for business. Was pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. Right by the beach and walking distance to Cap3000 shops. I was lucky to get a room facing the courtyard and the sea. The views of sunrise and sunset were sensational. Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Shuttle from and to airport was good. All in all, a very good experience.
Stayed here after visiting clients in the area. Close to the beach & there are lots of great restaurants in the area to dine & people watch. Good secure car park & great staff. Rooms are good & clean. Definitely come again, especially with good connections to the airport.
I stayed here for a short night stay during a business trip. I was pleased they had a free hotel shuttle pick up but unfortunately had to wait 30 minutes when it should've been less than 10. Oh well I did get an upgraded Sea view room. Even though there were signs expecting construction I think the carpet they have on the fourth floor is actually their final one. But it looks quite strange almost like a polar bear in the Antarctic? The same mixed white black and gray color continues into the room. Quite surprising because you can't really tell if the floor is clean or not. The room itself is very clean. However I was disappointed not to find any in room slippers again this was a resort and should've had that. However the biggest disappointment was the cooling. Though it was quite chilly outside the room was showing 26° C and fortunately the air conditioning refused to bring the temperature lower than 25.2°. Upon trying to open the window it did lower the temperature a bit also invited the odd flying insect. I did not notify them that did not expect this to be the case at 10 PM. The other area for improvement are the small things. The showerhead, which doubles as a hand shower, had come loose and was sitting basically at knee height. You had to maneuver it with one hand to get a proper spray well soaping. or shampooing yourself. Again quite an amateur item you expect to not find ina resort hotel of this nature. Check in was OK though took slightly longer than expected. For the price being paid I had expected day free breakfast but apparently they expect 20 euros for it. I opted for the free enjoying coffee and €2.30 plus a free walk to the boulangerie a few hundred meters away over looking the dock. The positive note within just a few minutes walk there are many many restaurant choices.
I was staying here for work and it's far nicer than most work hotels. It's 5 mins drive to the airport yet you're not disturbed by the plane noise. My room was large and clean and had a mini bar and kettle (always a bonus). As I was staying late Oct/early Nov the beach area was out of action. I could sit there on a couple of permanent chairs but there weren't any staff or sunloungers. It didn't bother me as it was great to have it all to myself. Every member of staff that I encountered was very pleasant. For breakfast, I only had fruit and cereal but it looked like there was quite a lot of other stuff on offer. They do insist on taking a swipe of your credit card, which really annoys me. My room was prepaid and I explained I wasn't going to eat there or use the mini bar (the second time I stayed there I was only on the premises for 7 hours and all I wanted to do was sleep). It smacks of distrust and is tedious. If you want to see Nice, it makes sense to stay in the City itself. It takes quite a while to get into town on the bus so it's not quite worth popping in for dinner from here.
Location to the airport and to the beach was nice. Shuttle service to the hotel was quick. The hotel is very interesting in its layout. It is very close to the beach and restaurants with nice views of the beach. The room itself was a little different, with water closet in a room at the entrance to the room, while the bathroom/shower/sink area was around the corner near the bed. The room had a balcony which was nice, but unfortunately our view was not of the beach or courtyard. We didn't get to use the breakfast area in the morning so can't comment on it. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The only problem we had during our stay was the beds, we found them to be uncomfortable, but they might not be for others.
Very nice hotel with a great beach location, 20 meter,s from the door. If you want to visit Nice city (or Monaco) the train station is just a short walk. A large shopping also a short walk. Along the main promenade there are some 30 plus restaurants covering all tastes in food. Rooms clean, breakfast great choice of continental or cooked. Good for a business visit or out of the main city beach holiday location
