I was very disappointed with this accommodation. The only good thing about it is the location . The female receptionist is very helpful however don't expect much from the male. Don't expect much before arrival. Taxi from the airport to the hotel shouldn't cost from than $10.00. Anything more is a rip off.
Good Place to Stay but watch out for the TAXI COMPANIES THAT RIP YOU OFF. Apart from 2 very bad experiences using the local Taxi's it was a pleasurable stay and I would return to the resort. The accommodation is fine.

14 beautiful days at Heliotel Marine Saint-Laurent-du-Var.Warm welcome and friendly staff.Near sea side and shops.Only 2 kilometers from Cap 3000 shopping center. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance.
My choice for this location was a sort of last minute holiday one. You never know what you get in fact, but P & V was a wonderful exception. Very professional young lady welcomed me at the day of my arrival. Swimming pool is a cute place for relaxation, although during my stay the weather wasn't pretty warm. Washing machine downstairs is a great bonus for all clients I suppose. And of course, Haribo bonbons in the basket at the reception desk are a nice addition to all impressions. Awesome taste!
We found the welcome and service provided by Sandra and Julia on reception to warm generous and welcoming. In addition they assisted us in recovering our baggage which went astray enroute and also briefed us on the local area which was extremely useful. The location of the residence is very good. The front gate is directly opposite the entrance for the marina, the Tourist office and the beach. The beach is not sandy but covered in large pebbles we chose not to use it. The restaurants along the Marina dock are varied and numerous. There is a good bakery and café and a tobacconist. However these are restaurants which serve drink whereas the first bar opposite the apartment is Quai Quest which is a good bar which serves food. To the rear of the residence, 5 minutes’ walk is a small collection of local shops including a Spar, bakery, butchers and a chemist. All provided a good service however the Spar is but a corner shop and if planning to feed a family of up to six in the apartment the Spar lacks the range of foods need to do so. We were advised it was a car journey to the nearest supermarket. The coastal bus route is next to these shops The local railway station is 15 minutes stroll and provides a fast, efficient and well-priced service along the coast, we used it extensively. The apartment itself is large but you should note there is no oven if planning to cook nor a washing machine. The tv is a 21 inch which provides only French speaking channels which includes English programmes such as CSI NY, The Simpsons, Midsummer Murders all of which have been dubbed. There is no radio or DVD player present. The Wi fi was good but occasionally it dropped out. The swimming pool was excellent with ample sun beds at the time of our visit early September. The apartment was clean but overall the whole complex could be improved with a face lift. We would return to stay here.
The place is located great for my needs: next to the see, close to a sand beach, bicycles for rent are in the next corner. The place is very close to the airport but not noisy at all. I loved especially the swimming pool.
Arriving at 10pm and having to make bunk beds was disappointing. There was not hot water I the communial bathroom and the carpets were disgusting, are room was tied but not clean so spend 20mins sweeping. There was no mop so could not mop the dirty floor.
We booked very late and wanted a room for five with pool which was close to the beach. This is what we got. The pool and the pool area is the major upside with the hotel. The rooms are also clean and light. The reception staff is friendly and speak excellent English. It's only 200m to the beach. The downsides are the very hard beds and the dark and old carpeted corridors. Also the distance to larger super market/shops and train station is a minus.
Clean rooms. Apartments well situated between St Laurent-du-Var and Cagnes-sur-Mer. Very handy for the pebbly beach, but a mile walk into each town, but there are shops and restaurants along the way. Frequent buses and trains available to Nice, Monaco, Ventimiglia in Italy and Marseille. Pool well maintained. Does not open until 9 am which means there is not the rush for sunbeds, but an early dip is not allowed. Tennis courts available, but too hot to play most of the day. Car parking available if you came by car or if you hire a car. Plenty to do here, particularly if you like water sports. Close proximity to airport makes transfers easy. Highly recommended!
