Six weeks in Nice-work and play

We had a wonderful stay on Avenue Auber from the last week of May through the first week of July. The apartment is outfitted as descibed and shown in the pictures. It is coveniently located 4 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from the Nice Ville train station, and just off Avenue Victor Hugo between two stops for the L2 and L3 trams. There are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants and boulangeries in the neighborhood. It is close enough to the main sights to make them easy to reach but away from the hustle and bustle of the primary tourist streets. There was a two week stretch of the typical European heat waves during our stay and the airconditioning in bedroom and living kept us very comfortable. The apartment is on the fourth floor, getting the morning sun, but has a retractable awning to keep it shady on the balcony. We enjoyed early evening rose and cheese on that balcony everyday and made many dinners at the apartment.
