We went this nice hotel for a business trip and the surrounding was very great! The room was clean and comfortable, restaurant was also available until night. Every morning you can catch a cup of nice and fresh coffee, choices for breakfast were variety and very delicious. It's easy to find by driving and convenient to reach Antibes downtown! Staying there can make you just be at home.
Very good hotel, good gym, I really like the food in the hotel it is good quality and there are plenty of healthy options. The rooms are a good standard with a quality bathroom. The breakfast has lots of options and is always very good, my only gripe is that the rooms don't have an iron in as standard.
Check-in: While my husband was parking, my kid and I were struggling with our suitcases. No one came to help, fine, then we saw two gentlemen in the reception simply watching us approach. Not like they were helping other clients... simply waiting for us to come to the reception. Very helpful… Room: dirty and stained toilet seat… totally unacceptable for even a 3 star hotel. Executive room is being cleaned not until after 4pm… never been able to relax in the room since you never know when the cleaning staff will come. Dirty towels with stains. Again, not acceptable. Restaurant: staff were friendly enough. But overpriced for the quality of food served. Too tough steak... not even string beans in salad niçoise. Not much a variety. The only good thing was its location - access to the tennis academy.
Recently and perfectly renewed. I stayed for business so no experience of fantastic tennis and spa resort. Silence, friendly and efficient staff, excellent Mediterranean food and more. Rooms, with terras (for smokers like me) are relaxing and very well designed. Separate lavatory (always welcome), well structured bathroom. Close to Nice, but away from noice and stress. I enjoyed it every minute. For you to judge if it meets your needs.
Stayed here for 4 nights while on Business in the area. The rooms were a good size with everything you need except an iron and ironing board which can be obtained from housekeeping. The bed was comfy as were the pillows. Breakfast was good with hot and cold choices, good coffee as well. Service was very good and the staff very helpful. Drinks weren’t cheap but you would expect that anyway in a hotel like this. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but colleagues did and said it was very good. There is a good gym, tennis courts and pool all well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful hotel at a great tennis venue! If you love sports and especially tennis you find it heavenly and of course the surrounding (Nice, Cannes, Côte d'Azur) is beautiful! The food is perfect and the people are very helpful and nice.
We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday afternoon at about 4 o'clock, so we were able to check-in and get our room immediately. (Which was nice after a 14 hour drive) The receptionist explained where our room was and how we can get to the pool, restaurant for lunch / dinner & restaurant for breakfast and where the (free to use) tennis courts are. We got to our room and we were very pleased with the size, cleanliness, outside-view of the room. There were 2 free bottles of water in the mini-frigde. Pitty that they didn't offer a glass of bubbles (cava or champagne). The only negative point of the room is the shower. The shower head is really small and you couldn't put it high enough to properly stand under it. A rain shower would make the room simply perfect! We only had breakfast in our hotel as we had our car to drive to nearby cities for lunch & supper. We were welcomed every morning by very friendly staff. They always brought a smile to our faces! Although the breakfast buffet was exactly the same every morning! The last two days I didn't know anymore what to eat as I had it all before. We had one supper and one lunch at the hotel's main restaurant. The food is really tasty, but a little overpriced maybe as the service isn't that good. The staff isn't that friendly, they sometimes even ignore you or charge you with stuff you didn't order. As I said, the food is really good but when you have lunch on the restaurant's terrace, then you're surrounded with business people. It feels strange to sit there in your swim shorts and t-shirt while others are there in suits or proper shirts. I think that's why the staff first ignored us but I could be wrong ... There are two swimming pools (well three really .. but that one is reserved for the Mouratoglou resort). We only used the racket shaped pool. The pool is nice, but quite deep (+- 2 meters). Just the part, where you entered the pool slowly, isn't. Shame that the poolbar wasn't opened, but I suppose it didn't open because there weren't a lot of people around the pool area during our stay. Max concurrent amount of people we've seen was about 10. That was a bit of 'shock' as we're used to big resort hotels where tens to hundreds of people lie at the pool. Last but not least! The adjacent tennis academy! We had a walk around the academy on our first day and we couldn't believe our eyes. 30-40 tennis courts (hardcourt & gravel) ready to be played on. There are even two courts dedicated to Serena Williams & Novak Djokovic! As my girlfriend and me are tennis players, we just had to stop and take a picture to memorize this. We were even lucky to see a junior's tournament during our stay with some very good tennis. If I can give one tip: You need a car if you're staying at this hotel. There are some bus stops nearby but a car is (almost) a must have.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Beachcomber last weekend! What a great place to stay and such a pro and friendly staff. We received a warm welcome at our arrival (refreshments), and enjoyed the venue with a great pool and tennis area, as well as an amazing fitness room (with top equipment). A special applause to the chef: we had an exquisite diner on the terrasse (our favorite was the fois gras makis, one of the signature dish). If you are looking for a retreat from the crowded French Riviera with top services: this IS definitely the place to stay. A special thanks to Pascal Amberg who made our stay special!
We were traveling from Barcelona to Florence and pulled in for a break from the ride. The resort was so wonderful we did not want to leave. We loved our room, restaurant facilities and staff. We want to go back.
+ positive We were Here for 6 days ( 5 nights ) in August. Good breakfast, nice big rooms and lovely swimming pool, we loved the food it was so good. The housekeeping was super good - negative What we didn't liked was the service of the restaurant. We booked our stay with Weekendesk.be and we had halfpension ( 3 cours meal each day). The communication was bad and we had to make a reservation for the restaurant ?? We have half pension .. didn't know we had to reserve for that. Wasnt told us at check in ... You have to pay extra if you don't like the menu ... if you are vegetarian then you have no choice at all 😞 The Waiter made us feel not welcome he even said in french ( and I understanding the languaes ) : always the same with these people !! That is rude!!! Never been treated like this before in My life. We gave every evening a tip for the first 3 days... were always so happy but the last 2 days of our stay nog anymore. Such a shame to end the vacation like this and go home
