I was there for five days the hotel is very central near the shops also near the beach and a five minute walk to the casino we had a balcony and the room was clean and spacious the breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful I enjoyed the stay very much
Straight to the point. We were here on business. The meeting rooms werent up to scratch, the air conditioning (when turned on) smelt like sulpher. The staff (although friendly) do not know if they are coming or going. The rooms were musky and hot with no air con and old fashioned, the in built hair dryers blew out a whisp of air smelling strongly of cigarettes. The bar shut at 6pm in the evening (off peak). Breakfast was of a low standard. Lunch on the terrace was the stand out bit for this hotel. Beautiful view and the quality of the food for lunch was overall very good. But if you are looking to plan a business meeting here with their facilities. Dont.
Over the years I have stayed in most of the sea facing 4 star hotels in Nice, all of which are good, but none of which, in my opinion match the high standards of the B4 Plaza. My most recent visit last year cemented my opinion that this hotel is exemplary in all aspects, including its perfect location, impeccable standards of cleanliness, friendly helpful and professional staff, a superb breakfast served in a spacious colourful dining room. No 'early morning agro' induced by tables squeezed too closely together. The room was serviced each morning with attention being paid to the smallest detail. I would hate to shoot myself in the foot, but this hotel is very competitively, if not surprisingly competitively priced.. My only reservation ( no pun intended) in submitting my review of this hotel is that it may cause a clamour for booking and an increase in prices.
Requested early check in but had to wait a while. Room had a great view Excellent location No breakfast included Walking distance to most things including plenty of bus stops and attractions also major shopping area
When we walked into the room we actually thought the staff had made a mistake by giving us a normal room instead of the superior double that we had booked in advance. We paid more than 200 EUR for a place that's worth maybe half of that amount. Apart from the very dissimilar size and look of the room when compared to the pictures we had seen, the reservation said 'garden view', but all we were given was 'street noise'. So if you're ever booking a garden view room, don't think peace & quiet, think traffic & noise. WE ASKED TO CHANGE, THEY SAID IT'S THE RIGHT ROOM. Right. Welcome to France and happy new year. On a positive note (although hard to digest at this point), location is absolutely brilliant, the lobby area looks rather nice and the breakfast was fairly good.
This hotel was ok. Its bit outdated but yet compfortable. We had a deluxe room which was very spacious, clean and nice. Locations is perfect. Considering the low rate, its a good deal. Breakfast was okay too.
It was my second stay in lovely city of nice with my husband. After many searches we chose this hotel and the room with panoramic sea view absolutely coasts the money. It has fantastic view and you can enjoy the Mediterranean blue while beautiful garden is in your front. The room size was big enough. The terrace have a nice electric sunroof. The only things that disturbed us was the Wi-Fi that disconnected repeatedly.
Its a very old hotel needs alot of renovations..the staff at reception was also not welcoming with no courtesy to talk and help us around.. The rooms very bad in which AC was not working properly.. no cooling at all we changed the room but it had the same issue.. we were there for 6 nights and had to sleep with windows open since there was no ventilation and got dozens of mosquitos inside.. We selected this hotel because of the location but alot had to be compromised to get it.. Its roof top cafe has nice coffee no other service we used of this hotel.. think before you book this
Here is the story. I was staying in the hotel from Nov 6th to Nov 20th. One night, I parked my rental car on the street in front of the hotel (never do that! It's forbidden), someone bumped into it. The next morning, I first saw a parking ticket on my car's windshield and then I saw the car has a totally flat tire, a lot of scratches and a bent engine hood :-(. I was totally freaked out and didn't know what to do about it. Nicholas, the receptionist, kindly offered a lot of help. He helped me contact the rental company, call the towing company, explain to me where and how to pay the parking ticket, and point out the nearest police office for me to get a police report. He is very professional and responsible. It would have been so much harder without his help. The other receptionist, Alexis, is also very nice. In summary, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is great, the price is fair and the most important, the staffs here are great!
Our room was roomy and the view was great. The location puts you within walking distance of everything. The staff were pretty nice, not exceptional. Be careful in the bathtubs. They are deep and there was no mat. A bit slickery. The Eurocup was going on when we were there and there was a Fan Zone across the street at the park. That was a bit noisy, but it wasn't every night. It was fun to see all that was going on in connection with the games.
