This resort far outweighed expectations. The accommodation was perfect, comfortable beds and beautiful amenities. The staff were all friendly and Helpful and the spa treatments out of this world. Food in both restaurants was excellent
We were here for our trip. We have requested something for our special day. The hotel replied with a prompt response, promising that would prepare something prior arrival. However, we were given a bad room with minimal natural light, the room didnt look like website images. On our arrival day they totally forgot about our special request due to miscommunication between department. They kept telling us about the cake but no cake was given in the end :))). Our package icluded 50 minutes of spa treatment, but the real experience was definitely less than that. Quality was so so, nothing special. A big let down for us since we expected a bit more since the resort was famous because of its spa treatment. Breakfast selection was limited and not tasty. We decided to have meals at other hotel instead. Mr Hai - duty manager was the only staff that could make us feel more comfortable by given us late checkout and move us to another room with nicer arrangement. Special thanks to him
Our family stayed a night in a private villa and enjoyed dining at the restaurant with our friends. All was top notch!! The next day we tried the massage and relaxed in our private pool. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoy a five star treatment.
This is a 5 star resort with a difference. The facilities, accommodation, food and location are all simply exceptional as you would expect. But the big difference is the staff. If you are after a warm, genuine, down to earth experience then Fusion is the answer. The majority of staff come from the local villages, so you are part of an authentic Vietnamese community which is warm and welcoming. And the two spas sessions a day, which is built into the price, is the icing on the cake. No wonder there is such a dynamic feel from all the people milling about the spa reception, which melts into a lazy and relaxed mist when you leave. All up, worthy of 5 stars. Most relaxing and enjoyable holiday stay ever.
We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved everything about this resort. We had a pool villa room which was beautifully designed and decorated. The whole resort is stunningly beautiful. The service was friendly and attentive and the food excellent. They had happy hours and it was just lovely drinking cocktails looking out over the pool to the ocean. We did a meditation one morning which we really enjoyed. The spa is great, again beautifully designed. Congratulations to David and his team and we'll be back! Sally and Mark
Stayed for 5 nights with my wife for wedding anniversary from Sep 7 - 12. Problems started from booking the room directly via hotel website due to some name error and had to book twice to amend the issues. Was charged twice on my credit card but was resolved in the end but was paranoid the whole time that I would be double charged. Arrived at hotel and expected a little something for wedding anniversary like most high end hotels would provide like a simple piece of cake or little decor in the room but nothing but this is not important. Basic English language skills of staff needs work as we had problems of receiving basic information and we eventually gave up and looked to google for our questions. Room was nice except a dead cockroach was found next to the bed, didn't make a fuss and just threw it in the bin but no one would appreciate this in your room. During the 6 days we only left the resort for 1 day and all meals were sorted in the hotel, and to be frank food quality is average to poor when considering the prices in terms of portion, variety and flavor. Massages were hit or miss but good overall. Private yoga session was good and enjoyable. Tried to book the private fishing and snorkeling trips but was a nightmare of yes and no then yes then no from the FO agent, where we gave up in the end. Matthew was the star hero of the resort who managed to give us recommendations on what to do in town, restaurants to try and transportation arrangements. He was the only team member who showed us what hospitality is, and other members should learn from him. Overall beautiful resort, great beach, but do not set your expectations too high in terms of F&B and service, then you will be ok.
After a shaky start, with our room not being up to scratch, we spoke to guest relations Matthew, after staying at many five star resorts around the world, I can honestly say, I have never come across a more dedicated helpful, and empathetic young man, he is doing his internship, and absolutely knows how to achieve customer satisfaction. The resort has a few issues, with rooms needing upgrades, hence the reason for our change, once these issues are sorted this is definitely a five star plus resort. The grounds and pool areas are amazingly big, clean, and very accommodating, the super large infinity pool, looking out to see is phenomenal. The on call guys in buggy’s to get you around the resort is a fantastic idea. To sort our problems Matthew got us a pool garden villa room, for our inconvenience. Matthew totally ensured our happiness and comfort, in the highest degree, he has since constantly checked to be sure we are content. I know from other guests, he has also done the same thing. He listens to everything you say, and delivers that personal service. With his work ethics he will certainly be achieving great things in his career. He totally made our stay a pleasure. Thank you Matthew Karen, Billy and Sue.
Our group of 6 stayed in this hotel for a family trip. As they didn’t have any 3 bedroom villa, we booked 1 2-bedroom private pool villa plus 1 standard room. The hotel has got the hardware right but we could at most give it a 6 out of 10 as there is still lots of room for improvement in its software. Here is what I liked and disliked: 1. The hotel is located conveniently just 10mins away from the Cam Rahn airport so it can be a good quick weekend getaway spot but it also mean that it is around 35mins away from the Nha Trang town centre. The hotel however provides shuttles to and from the town centre and it’s only around 1.6mil Vietnam Dong if you take taxi. 2. The hotel offers great hardware - stylist design, spacious villa, modern outlook, stunning seaview and great pool facilities. There are 2 swimming pools (one infinity pool attached to the main restaurant and another less crowded, gigantic one further away which offers a relaxing and quiet environment for those who would really like to swim or read a book). The gym studio offers abundant equipment for a workout and it also has a yoga studio with several free yoga classes offered on a daily basis. I attended one of them and the teacher was great! 3. The hotel also comes with a private beach where the sand is soft and the water is clear. In most of the other beachfront resort you may not actually be able to swim due to factors like rocks and big waves etc but this one is absolutely swim-able. It was indeed relaxing enough just to lie on the sun bed watching waves and enjoying the breeze. Now, something that I thought could have done better: 4. There is only 1 main restaurant and another smaller one offering quite bites. The menu in the main one throughout the day is generally very limited and the food quality is not great. We had the worst pho there and on our first night when we wanted to stay in for dinner, they only offered a seafood bbq buffet (650k Dong per person) and no options for a la carte. It was a total rip off as the food option was limited (prawns, squid, some meat satay, grilled veggie, I have seen some leftover oysters and clam but I couldn’t see any refill so I didn’t get to eat any of them) and there was a constant long queue waiting for the 2 chefs to barbecue the food. As the hotel is located remotely there is very limited choice of dining places out there. I can say the food that I had in here was the worst among all the hotels that I have ever stayed. 5. This is an all-spa inclusive hotel whereby each guest gets 2 spa sessions per day (80mins combined). It means that booking needs to be made well in advance (mine was made more than a week before my arrival and I was asked to move to some other slots due to availability) and it’s almost impossible to make changes to the booking once you have arrived. This makes sense though given their high demand so I won’t blame them. However, the high spa usage means that when you walk into the spa lobby, you will see a large crowds waiting for the therapist (it felt like walking into a public hospital) and that the treatment process will be carried out like a fast-food processing. It is however worth complimenting that most of the therapists have very good technique. 6. Despite being well-built, the hotel is not doing a good job in maintenance, e.g dusts are everywhere in the villa from counter top to the floor in the bedroom, stains in the sink and moles in the shower booth etc. 7. The house-keeping arrangement was also interesting. One day we had the house keeping sign hung out when we left our room at 11am and when we returned at 4pm, the house cleaning was still in the middle of the process. We had to then hang out in the lobby for a while before we can go back to the room and rest. In the same occasion, while one of our room was being cleaned, our other room was not yet cleaned up at all, so our family member started to shower and in the middle of it, the house cleaning stuff knocked and insisted to come in for cleaning. We had to turn them down and ask them to come back again but they communication was a bit difficult as the cleaning staff couldn’t understand well. This is a rather rare arrangement as normally all cleanings would ideally have been done without the guest presence, not to mention coming in to clean when the staff is showering. 8. There is only shields inside the bathroom meaning that whoever walked by can look into the bathroom. Though the bathroom is facing a backyard sort of field, there was one day when I was in the toilet and I saw a worker watering the plants out there. My husband had to open the glass door and asked the worker to stop watering here (there was just no way for us to hide ourselves in the bathroom if someone was out there). My mother also had the same encounter when she was showering in the other bathroom and she had to immediately run back to the bedroom naked. If it’s difficult to control whether the worker will water the plants in the villa area, then a solid curtain should have been installed so that at least the bathroom will not be visible to the outside. This place can do a lot more better if they put more effort in ground staff training, eg the chef and house keeping staff etc.
We stayed at the Fusion Resort for 9 nights and had the most amazing time. The resort is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay with beautiful views and wonderful accommodation. The staff could not do enough for us and offered a very personalised service. We would particularly like to thank Alex and Matthew for the friendly and helpful service they provided, we have spent a lot of time in Asia as we love it so much, but our time at the Fusion Resort has been above and beyond what we have ever experienced.
I travel to Nha Trang with my girlfriend, and we choose this hotel as our last stop. The location of the hotel is very convenient, it take only 10 minutes from the hotel to airport. The reception are nice and helpful, we had a quick check-in and the staff drive us to our suite, the suite is cozy and we enjoy it so much. We also booked for the spa, we had chosen for the uplifting pressure therapy, the spa room is clean and provide high quality treatment. Fusion resort cam ranh is highly recommended, we would like to thank you Mr. Koegelenberg who providing us the warmest service and we will come back again next year.
