We have been visiting Elizabeth Inn for many years now. But now days the amenities have continued to be lass and less. They used to have a nice breakfast room with actual food to enjoy and now its just a bunch of prepackaged things that are not even good. Also we used to enjoy the fresh baked cookies in the evening and you could choose from several kinds. Now they just hand out one cookie per person and they are just store bought. Yet the price we pay just goes up and up. So next time we come to Newport, we will likely try another place.

The room was beautiful! Enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping wine. Every staff member we met was kind and helpful. The chowder and cookies in the evening were a lovely treat.

I love staying at the Elisabeth. Only negitive is the smell in the hall ways. They need to either clean the carpet or change the type of carpet freshner used. Smells like stinky socks. The room was good though.
