The ocean front room can’t be beat!

I don’t write reviews typically but the experience was so terrible I have to share. I’ve never been treated so terribly by a hotel in my life. We traveled with my husband for a work trip. He had a quick work meeting at 11am. I requested a late checkout and the front desk said the best they could do was 11:30. We brought our belongings to the lobby at 11:30 and waited for my husband to arrive from his meeting, expected at any minute. The man at the front desk told us we could not wait in the lobby and told me and my three children we had to leave. It is December, cold and raining at the ocean. Confused I asked if my children and I could wait indoors for our ride away from the cold and rain. No... he told us we had to leave. I could not believe someone in “hospitality” would send my three small children outside on the curb in the December rain. My husband arrived ten minutes later as expected but I will never forget being turned out in the cold in such a manner. Unbelievable. I feel a dog would have been shown more respect.

We were so disappointed in the Elizabeth! It was so dirty -- hair (human and dog) everywhere, toe nail clippings on the carpet, dust and grim and schmutz on every surface. We had to wear flip flops in the shower ... it was that scummy! And the front desk didn't really seem to care. Finally they agreed to having the room re-cleaned (they refused to move us). Plus, our room was definitely last revamped in '90s, meaning décor and furnishings were old, really old! I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Location is great with ocean view. The front desk staff talked on the phone for so long while a customer was in front of her. When it was my turn, she did the same thing, answered the phone then spoke to other hotel staff before attending to me. Our room was dusty, Ive to wipe everything down, furnitures are old and worn out. The balcony door and ceiling fan were broken. There was a car alarm which went off 3x through the night and the guests on top of us were very noisy so we didnt get any sleep. We checked out the next day and stayed in a different hotel.

taking precautions to ensure the safety of the guess should be a priority;it should not be an excuse to provide a poor service. Having said that, we were really disappointed with the service provided, the room was dirty, the Tv did not work, the bedding was not clean and the customer service was unacceptable. Overall, we had a bad experience.

Pool was closed and kiddos were very disappointed. The staff was very nice, hotel very clean and quiet.

For our trip we reserved a suite as we are traveling with 3 kids and 2 adults. We we arrived it was room. Talking to staff ALL of their rooms are one room despite being advertised as a suite. We then went down to the pool. Only to find that the pool and hot tub were shut down for renovation.

Location. Next to good restaurants and view from the hotel balcony.

The hotel is fantastic, but could use an update on the workout room! Some free weights would be nice!

This property has a beautiful location. They serve chowder and fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Free breakfast. Also have indoor pool and spa. Excellent for relaxing.

Jacuzzi was great, staff was great. Only thing I would say is that when the power went out, nobody was notified until we asked..

Having said that, we were really disappointed with the service provided, the room was dirty, the Tv did not work, the bedding was not clean and the customer service was unacceptable.
