The hosts Mike and Rebecca are terrific hosts. The rooms were comfortable and the house was inviting and the breakfast was fabulous. Their coffee in the rooms were fantastic... You must try the espresso !!! Location wise, it was fantastic, 1 minute to the docks for the ferry and a few minutes from the main street and restaurants. Jamestown itself is a great get away from the urban noise with great food. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here and I'd do it again in a heartbeat...
Spent several days at East Bay during the Newport Jazz Festival. This is the perfect B&B to unwind. While it is close to the downtown restaurants & ferry service it is quiet and private. Mike & Rebecca are outstanding hosts who are friendly & attentive. Their breakfasts are delicious even accommodating my wife's gluten sensitivity and their coffee was so good they shared the name of the shop in Wickford where they purchase it so we could bring home a few bags for home. The rooms are tastefully appointed comfortable and clean. The truffles were a very nice touch too! Looking forward to another visit next August when we return again!
Great location, clean, nicely appointed rooms and nice touches with Cape Cod chocolate on the nightstands and breakfast in the morning. Private bathrooms with all the amenities. A short walk down to the main village and a quick drive over the bridge to Newport. We will return!
The East Bay Bed and Breakfast was perfect. I planned a last minute getaway with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and East Bay was able to accommodate us. The location is perfect and very close to one of our favorite spots in Jamestown - Slice of Heaven. We stayed on the 3rd floor which was beautifully decorated and had the most comfortable mattress ever. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We would absolutely stay at East Bay again.
I spent 2 nights at the East Bay B&B, and I can't say enough about it. I had been in Maine for the previous 8 days, staying in 4 different inns/B&Bs. East Bay outshone all of them. Mike and Rebecca are warm, friendly hosts who have poured their hearts into making East Bay beautiful, restful and welcoming. They renovated and redecorated the entire inn earlier in 2018, and every room is fresh, bright and inviting. The sheets and towels were of top quality, and every amenity possible was provided in each room. It was nice to have a fridge, coffee/tea machine and water provided. The delicious breakfasts were served on the porch. I have been visiting Jamestown off and on my whole life, and it's wonderful to know I have a comfortable place to return to.
Just spent five nights here with my wife. I was looking for someplace quiet and peaceful, as this was part of a sabbatical for me. The location was just a two minute walk from Jamestown wharf. Restaurants and sights all around. The inn had just been remodeled and updated. I’ve had varied experiences at B&Bs but this was the cleanest, quietest place ever. Linens and towels were soft and thick. Good internet. Beds were comfy. Breakfast on the porch every day was amazing- had something sweet and savory. Quality through and through. Mike and Rebecca were great hosts. Consistently friendly and attentive. Lots to do nearby. Went to Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, PawSox game, Beavertail Park, and the beach. Booking this place again!
I stayed 10 days at the East Bay Bed & Breakfast and had a wonderful time here. Mike and Rebecca are just the perfect hosts - always helpful and kind and full of good advice. Can't recommand them enough. The breakfasts cooked by Rebecca are the best I ever had in America. Top destination if you're looking for where to rest and enjoy Rhode Island.
had a 2 nite stay here, new owners were very nice and helpful with information about town and things to do, they are updating/painting, so our room didn't look like the picture ( no big deal, just an FYI). And OH MY GOSH , breakfast was super ( fresh muffins, fruit with lime zest, baked eggs with spinach and dried tomatoes,) and VERY filling. no need to eat again until dinner .... right in town- so close to everything. would recommend...
What a wonderful little jewel in Jamestown! Comfortable and well appointed rooms in a sweet 19th century house close enough to Newport but away from its traffic and hustle & bustle. Rebecca and Mike are the new owners and have done a great job in freshening the decor. Their breakfasts are delicious and the two of them are friendly and delightful hosts. Will definitely stay here again...they're finishing the top floor 2br suite, so I'll be sure to check back in when that's done for my parents' 46th wedding anniversary celebration weekend!
We had a wonderful three day stay at East Bay B&B. The accommodation was perfectly situated in Jamestown and our room was spotlessly clean with a lovely big bed....and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic. Paul and Diane went to extra lengths to make sure we were perfectly looked after...and they even checked us in for our return flights, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here and we would certainly return again.
