Amazing location - very charming yet cozy (loved the restaurant across the street- so convenient) and right in the heart of Balboa! The property was very clean, check in was seamless and we loved having a parking spot available. My family and I will definitely be back!

The property was accurately described in the listing. The property was comfortable, well appointed and we couldn’t find a better location for Balboa Island.

Updated compared to other small rentals I’ve stayed at on the island. Steps to the ferry, the convenience store, and Mexican restaurant. Prefect for two people with additional room on a pullout sofa bed. If you plan to cook the kitchen has newer appliances and lots of room. Rooftop patio also a bonus but the covered parking is a huge convenience for the area! Living space all on one level but several stairs from the front door and up to the rooftop patio. Plan to stay there again!

Nice Small Place with Easy Walking to Restaurants

Great place for enjoying what Balboa Island has to offer. Easy access to freeways when needing to get out and about. Well furnished kitchen and bbq for staying in as well.

Terffic stay in great location

Really nice spot for two folks, with easy walking distance to the Main Street on Balboa Island. Plus, just one block from catching the Ferry. Condo is easy access, has off-street parking and is very comfortable. We’ll use it again!

Perfect for Balboa Fun

Excellent location and parking in off street carport is a plus. Equipped with convenient amenities in the kitchen. The roof deck is really nice for morning or evening hang outs.The king mattress could use an upgrade but otherwise this is a great place for two people!

Fantastic Stay!

I was in town for four nights on business and wanted to stay on Balboa Island. My wife and I have stayed several places before but none of them had air conditioning and for my stay in July I was happy to find the Tuscan style retreat did. The place was just as advertised, clean, and within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The off street parking is a huge convenience as well. Next time my wife and I visit we will be sure to book.

Balboa weekend

Place was great!! Easy access and has a rooftop if you want to see sunset! Around the corner from the todos santos Mexican restaurant. It’s great and has coffee bar in the morning. Can walk to get on ferry to go across to many many restaurants and beach. We loved going to dinner on main strip! Royal Hen was yummy! It’s definitely an upscale rental for a one bedroom condo!

It was but the place is directly below the flight path and flights start early. Very noisy. I don’t recall “stairs” being discussed in the listing. We are over 75 and stairs are a big deal. We managed, but it was challenging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We visit Newport Beach multiple times a year, so we’ve stayed at quite a few property rentals. This one was by far our favorite location! As a family of four, I would say it was a bit tight, but we were only there to sleep. The pull out sofa bed was perfect for my 2 sons. I would definitely stay there again. The architecture and decor is very Mediterranean, and there is a bit of a learning curve to the bath fixtures. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, there were plenty of linens and beach towels. The boogie boards were a nice touch, and we appreciated having on site laundry machines.

It is a great place for a couple to use as a launching point to do things around Balboa and Newport Beach. We loved that the Ferry was only a block away. The unit is clean, well appointed, quiet and comfortable. It has two large screen TV’s equipped with Apple TV’s.
