A beautiful location, minutes to the beach. Hotel has beach toys & towels easily borrowed in the lobby, so helpful to entertain kids for a while. Breakfast buffet the usual mix of hot & cold, with barista facilities. Staff friendly & very helpful.

Excellent location if you like the beach. Nicely elevated and some great restaurants in the area. Rooms were very comfortable for the Novotel chain so I would stay there again. Car parking was convenient but there was a cost per day. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as I heard it was average.

We stayed over the long weekend. We were accor members and being to many accor hotels and this is one the nice ones.my little girl got a very cool gift during the check in which was nice We stayed at level 5 and the room had a view of the sea. Spacious rooms. Breakfast was good had a reasonable spread.I would have loved it if there was some pancakes as well

I'm maybe a little old fashioned but like someone at the reception desk when I walk up. Even though only a short wait for someone to walk over from the back office to meet and greet. Friendly and efficient check in and very good standard of room layout. Large and modern bathroom, small walk in type wardrobe. Views are a little compromised by extensive residential developments right between the beach and the hotel. It's a fast growing area with tapas bar, cafes and small restaurants close by. Short walk to the beachfront and ocean baths. Free street parking close by. Would recommend although breakfast buffet options a little limited. Good coffee though...shop around the web for good last minute rates (bookings.com etc etc)

From the moment we booked to stay at Novotel Newcastle Beach the customer service was remarkable. Thank you, great effort we will definitely be staying again and telling all our family and friends.....

We went there in April. We are a very fussy couple and we have stayed at other Novotel hotels as well, being Accor members. But we totally enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were a bit small, smaller than other Novotel hotels. But that was a minor blip within the whole trip. The bed was so comfy that there were days when we slept in. We loved the buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant. My favourite was the muesli yougurt that comes in these small little cups. Dinner at the restaurant was great too. When you walk out of the hotel, if you walk up the stairs right next to the hotel, you can reach the beach. There were some construction going on in April. Take a stroll up the road to the wharf area. You have to walk a fair bit (10 min) to reach the restaurants along the Wharf. While there is not much to do in Newcastle (no offence folks), if you take things easy like late wake up, lazy morning, laid back lunch and then afternon walk along the wharf, you will totally enjoy Novotel Newcastle and its surrounding area.

Everything was excellent from the check in to the departure. This is a great spot, close to the harbour, the beach and some great cafes. The room was very comfortable, i stayed in a superior harbour view room and it was huge, modern bathroom and great king bed. I had breakfast in the restaurant both days and it was good with everything you need to start the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Novotel Newcastle Beach for our two night stay in Newcastle and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. This is a very nice hotel in a good location in the CBD. There are plentiful nice places to dine within walking distance of the hotel and other activities and attractions are also close by. I have stayed at other hotels when visiting Newcastle but when I return in the future I will definitely stay at this hotel.

For the price I wasn't blown away by the Novotel but it was good enough. Bed is comfortable and I love he selection of pillows, front of house service is very good. The air conditioner in my room rattled all night - lucky I had so many pillows because I needed to put one over my head to block out the noise! Hotel is close to some lovely restaurants and is in a very convenient part of town if you're here in business.

Beautiful location walking distance to the beach. Room service a bit pricey but lovely. I liked the healthy options. They have some Eco credentials but could ditch single used little bottles covered in plastic. Breakfast was great too. Not a huge selection but good options. Yummy creamy scrambled eggs. I liked that juices and yogurts were not in single use plastics. Thank you Here's a picture of the salmon and salad. Maybe too much onions and olives and a caper and lemon would have made it wow
