I was very impressed with The Lodge. It was easy to find, plenty of parking, reception staff were friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms, unfortunately one room had a smell to it, I think from a drain, hence 4 stars. Other than that the beds was massive, the rooms were clean and I would happily stay there again.

Lovely hotel staff polite and friendly checking in, our room was very small and a bit tired looking with some of the fittings looking a bit grubby and tatty and some marks on the wall, The bar and restaurant area were very nice and our breakfast was excellent. I would recommend going for an upgraded room hopefully a bit larger than ours.

Room was OK , not the biggest in the world but for the price was as expected. There was only a Plug socket one side of the bed so I couldn't use my phone and charge overnight with it handy.
