Overall very nice but starting to look a bit tired in places. A few tiles missing from the pool area, chipped paintwork, bathrooms a bit dated. Not really what you expect from a 5* hotel.

We have been to a fair number of Luxury hotels across England and have to say this is the best we have been to. The best parts about the Hotel are the location, the overall decoration and style of the property, quality of the food and drinks and the greatest of all is the customer facing staff. The reception team, front of house for the restaurant and bar staff were absolutely superb and truly went out of their way in many occasions to be proactive, warm, professional and deeply considerate especially the reception and bar staff. They are one of the best parts of the hotel and are the part we would miss the most. They always went over and beyond to try and make us feel valued and special. We will definitely come again. While the overall experience was nothing short of superb, there were some things which were good but could have been better.One was the room service. Or room was comfortable and generally clean but there were minor details that felt more like there was a general to-do list when cleaning, meaning some areas like behind the bathroom door or a dirty glass still being left out after room service. Just very minor things. Last of all, the breakfast was brilliant but always felt there were far more guests than there was staff to serve adequately, meaning a bit of waiting to be sat down and to be served. Good overall and just an area to make it even better. Amazing venue overall and true luxury.

Excellent stay!. Service was prompt and professional. Love the estate especially the garden where apple trees and grape vines together will the fresh herbs grace the land. 60th Celebration TreeHouse Suite

We stayed in the Treehouse Suite and it was Amazing. Secluded, fabulous accommodation, all the treehouses have hot tubs and transport to and from in a golf buggy style car ( chauffeur driven ). Everything about the hotel was faultless and there’s NOTHING we would have changed. 10/10

Chewton Glen - 2 night stay - Croquet Roomms

Chewton Glen is a glorious hotel with fabulous, well cared for grounds. (Although the patios and tables in the Croquet rooms, could do with attention)The staff are exceptional, with every individual staff member reacting promptly, to our requests. We dined at the Kitchen on the first evening, which was superb. Unfortunately, on both mornings of our stay, our cooked breakfasts were rather disappointing. A simple omelet, eggs Benedict, and waffles were badly executed in our opinion. On the second evening we went to the Blossom Chinese in New Milton - very highly recommended!

Lovely sunny stay at Chewton Glen

Hotel and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The service we received from the staff was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We got a free room upgrade and our room was very comfortable and clean. Food was excellent, we enjoyed our breakfasts every morning and evening meal at the Kitchen.
