A cherished family retreat, rich with generational memories, now ready to welcome your family and create your own! This 1800 sq foot Lodge is situated on 5 beautifully wooded acres.

The home is a well- maintained and updated 3-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin, blending timeless charm with thoughtful updates and touches — just minutes from two of the Appalachian Trail’s most beloved hikes: McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth. As well as VA Tech!

A perfect getaway to celebrate the holidays! We visited Eagles Rest with my one month shy of 90 year-old mother, and two adult kids. We appreciated the welcoming amenities and meticulously clean and cozy atmosphere! Having two bedrooms on the primary floor was helpful for older guests, and the loft suite was beautifully private! We also enjoyed the location close to Roanoke, and the trailheads connecting to the Appalachian Trail were just minutes drive away! We had a wonderful stay, and it was a perfect five star, pet-friendly, getaway!

Very cute cabin with plenty of space. Off a gravel road. Really close to AT, McAfee Knob, Dragons Tooth, and not far from Salem for food and stuff. We stayed in late October, and it was chilly out, but the cabin was warm and cozy. Great view of the stars.

We had an 18 y/o tiny daushund with us. He went everywhere with us. Our friend carried him in a little sling. His name is Mozart. Everything was great at the house. Lovely home with lots of deck to hang out on. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. Questions to our host were answered very quickly and completely.

Perfect blend of rustic cabin with modern conveniences and finishes and perfectly appointed kitchen, utensils, kitchenware, Keurig & standard coffee maker, etc. Every detail of this property was thoughtfully done by owner including quality matresses, bedding, linens, outdoor gas fire pit with great seating, & deck furniture amenities. This beautiful home has every convenience plus extra surprises of bottle of wine, toothbrush kits, razors, snacks, candy, K-cups, tea bags, trash bags and perfectly appointed kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back again soon. Definitely highly recommend this amazing property.

Great week away

This cabin is very clean and well maintained. It had everything we could possibly need from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the bathrooms! It really was idyllic and my children enjoyed their time too! I already miss my coffee on the porch in the morning!
