Location is good and during Wurstfest it is priced well. The hot tub was not working. The parking was easy and the room was quiet and safe. I would recommend for someone not looking for frills.
What I didn't like was no beach/pool towels by the pool. Room keys were not working well from the pool to hotel.

I'm a 30-year veteran of business and leisure travel and took a chance on Sleep Inn for a one-night stay while taking my young kids tubing on the Guadalupe. It was a mistake, especially with so many other brand name hotels next door. The room was large but uninspiring and the amenities (toiletries, television, etc.) were below average. It didn't have the feel of a clean, crisp room that you normally see in mid-range hotels. To make matters worse, we had a plumbing issue immediately after we checked in and there was no maintenance staff to look after it. Also, the free breakfast, which was included on the website when I booked, wasn't open. Even in the COVID-19 era, all the hotels we've stayed in have had their breakfast areas at least partially open, if not fully open. In my opinion, this Sleep Inn is in the lower half of the 'budget' hotel category and would be more of a 2.5 or 3 (at best) on the 5-star scale and certainly not the 4.4 it was rated.
Overall pleasant stay. I had to ask staff for help with hot tub and breakfast accommodations .

This was my 1st stay at a Sleep Inn. Normally, I stay at the Westin or Sheraton. Surprisingly, the Sleep Inn was actually EXCELLENT -and I am a very particular person with very high standards. This hotel meet all of my standards - completely and totally. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. They served real eggs that you must crack -none of that powered stuff. And the staff, OMG they were all amazing, friendly and kind -especially: Mary, Michelle, Marie. They made my visit to both the San Antonio area and the Sleep Inn Although, this was my first time staying at a Sleep Inn it will not be my last.
