Somatel Nashville Airport Hotel

our room smelled like sweat. there was black mold on both the wall in the room and in the shower. the pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. there are better budget hotels out there. the location, however, was decent for getting downtown.

This hotel is perfectly adequate. The manager is very helpful and eager to please.

the hotel is very close to the airport, to some restaurants and gas stations.and a short ride downtown. the only complain i would have, but can't really expect, since the amount paid was so little, is the lack of fruit for the breakfast. On the rest, staff was very helpful, room was clean, little noisy for the new year's, but it didn't bother me much. If you are affected by noise, that could be a problem with the planes flying right above constantly. I would go back.

On a weekend where all Nashville hotels appeared to be triple the price they normally are, this gem was just what we were looking for. A $25 cab ride to downtown and a decently comfortable bed to sleep on.

Good experience- good value for the price. Our bed was comfortable, but the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. The man at the desk was very nice.

Clean Room with a small Fridge and Microwave. It has very comfortable Beds. It has A/C. It has Airplanes Flying Directly Overhead every 15 minutes. For the Price it is a Good Value. They try to be very Accommodating when they can.

We just needed some place none expensive to stay over night. This place did the trip. Great price. Great location and was just what we needed. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast. What more could you want. We will stay there again.

I'm not concerned with friendliness or cleanliness or amenities since we only spent the night, but immediately upon arriving the manager put a bad taste in my mouth. He watched us pull up and then stated that we were being charged $6 per extra person in the car. We did not ask for extra towels, shampoo, or a cot. We only listed 2 petiole on the reservation because we didn't think it mattered (we paid for two double beds). We weren't trying to be shady. Other than that, the noise level was fine, the air conditioner worked, the door had a dead bolt & a chain lock, no laundry facilities, but yes elevator. They are strict about breakfast... No food in rooms & no breakfast for weekly guests. 2 HBO channels but you can't find them by channel surfing you have to type the numbers in the remote. It was a 2 star hotel. Worth $59 we were quoted but after taxes was in the $70s and we were charged an extra $12 at the front desk.

good for the price. you can hear the jets overhead, but it is not too bad. room was clean. very basic, no thrills hotel.

Small, clean and comfortable. Good price. Staff friendly. Only complaint would be the heat packed up during the second night, Reported early morning and assured it would be fixed. Returned late at night and still not working. Left for early flight at 2:am reported again. Hopefully fixed for next visitors.

I came to Nashville for a job interview and needed a place that was close to downtown but was also inexpensive. This hotel was perfect for that with the exception of the airplanes flying overhead all night. I had read previous reviews, though, so I knew it was close to the airport and had anticipated the noise. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, and the breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise for a hotel in this price range. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Everything was booked downtown or overpriced due to a concert in town. This place was only a few minutes from downtown and the room was very basic but clean and was good enough to get some sleep after a long drive. The manager was friendly I think his name was Ken? he gave me a room 333 which I think is one of there better rooms. Overall inexpensive clean place to get some sleep.

You get what you pay for. It was a perfect location and very inexpensive. Only 2 towels and 1 cup for 2 people in a king size bed with spread and no blanket, but it fit what we needed. Left at 5:30am so it was perfect for being so close to airport.

I don't know where they got the 2-star rating but this motel is a half-star at best. Very small room and tired, worn-out furnishings. Very over-priced for what it is.

the hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The night staff was very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

We were strangers in Nashville, but the person at the reception was really nice and helped us to find the location where we wanted to go. And he helped us to find taxi driver. Cleanliness of the hotel is a must but kindness of the hotel is more than that. If we visit Nashville again, we are sure to stay this hotel again. Thanks.

Stayed for $55/night during CMA fest, one of the busiest weekends for Nashville of the year. Extremely minimal room but for price, can't beat it. Also, hotel staff at check in was very pleasant

We stayed here the night before Bonnaroo and wanted to visit Nashville. Pretty close to downtown which was nice. Room is very simple, no clocks, refrigerator, or hair dryer, pool was empty. Way cleaner than I expected for the price. Great place when you just need a spot to sleep. Would definitely stay there again. Can't emphasize enough how much cleaner it was than many other hotels for that price. Pleasantly surprised.

Lack of several promised amenities Free coffee was undrinkable

The bed was a plastic mattress like found in a dorm room, and the sheets had cigarette burn holes in them (even though it was a no smoking room. You had to check in through a bullet proof window. Not the safest looking place in the world.
