Area was some what sketchy, homeless walking around. But it was great for us, somewhere to rest. I had read other reviews stating about bed begs, we had no issues with that. We had a 4 night stay but only stayed 3 because we made the drive to Gatlinburg and stayed 1 night out there then came back to this hotel for our last 2 nights. I would stay again. We didnt try the breakfast at the hotel as there are options around the area for breakfast.

The room was nothing like what was advertised on Expedia. Upon arrival, the key card did not work, and we were forced to wait outside in the cold for nearly an hour while the lock was being repaired. During this time, two individuals loitering nearby repeatedly stared at us, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Once we were finally able to enter the room, the condition was unacceptable. The room was dirty and poorly maintained, completely inconsistent with the photos and reviews shown online. The curtain hooks were broken, and we found cockroaches in both the room and the bathroom. Overall, this was a very disappointing and distressing experience.

Well check in was good. Lady was very sweet. However, after night one, I wanted to sleep in my car the next night I woke up to find bed bug bites on my body. UUGHH I gave ya'll a shot and then this. Next night I took the sheet and blankets off. looked at the mattress cover and there it was a live bed bug. I am not a complainer, but ya'll should change out your mattresses every 6 months, and have the hotel fumigated monthly because of this! I stayed in room 106 if that helps at all? Spray it, fumigate it, and get rid of the mattresses.
