Villa Durante was a lovely stay for my two sisters and I. The villa was large and very accommodating, we had plenty of space and two bathrooms was a nice bonus! The hosts were so kind and accommodating. The daily breakfast was an absolute delight! A bit of a walk from the train station, and we struggled with the Naples area public transportation but the Villa Durante made it a memorable stay for sure!

After growing tired of cold, cookie-cutter modern hotels, we were searching for a place with genuine old-world charm and character. We found exactly that at Villa Durante. The property is absolutely beautiful, full of elegance and history, and provided a truly memorable experience. The owner and staff were warm, gracious hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are so glad we chose this wonderful hidden gem. Big rooms in a charming old Villa. Services are limited. The neighborhood is a bit loud at night, and my room got a bit too hot. There’s a small AC unit, but it might not be enough for the space. The breakfast was good a plenty for one person. They were nice, kind, and helpful.

A very unique property! It was great for a one night stay. We had to leave early and they were so kind to fix breakfast for us earlier than usual. Could use some updates such as places to recharge phones. Not really possible to get luggage up to the bedroom with spiral staircase. Shower is very small. But we are glad we stayed in a place with so much history.

Good location for restaurants and visiting Herculaneum in Ercolano. Short train journey to either Naples or Pompeii and small book able tour coach leaves the train station each morning to visit Vesuvius weather permitting. Very comfortable accommodation with breakfast and fully recommend for a unique Italian experience.
