We also had to change rooms because of a noxious smell coming from the bathroom. Felt a bit pricey given the size of the room and the condition of the property. It is faulty advertising.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Herculaneum and found it a very pleasant place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for places to eat and for transport links. The room was clean and contained everything that we required, including a small balcony. Breakfast gave us plenty of choice and was very convenient. We certainly felt that our stay gave good value for money.
