All staff were pleasant and helpful. The room appeared clean and the pool looked clean and inviting, however it was too cool for me to check it out. The room lacked some items that are generally in hotel rooms, i.e. ice bucket (only an ice bag provided), hangers (you had to request), hair dryer- available upon request, a telephone, and towel racks or hooks. There were only ceiling lights and no table lamp which I like for nighttime reading. I noticed in other rooms there were table lamps so I requested one. The manager told me she would go out the next day and get one, which she did and which I appreciated. Apparently there were a few rooms without bedside lamps, as I saw at least five new lamps in the maintenance man’s vehicle. I let them know that the toilet needed to be attended to as it had to be flushed manually as the little stick inside the lid didn’t make good contact. All in all, minor inconveniences. Not particularly worth an extra hundred dollars a night. But it may bother others more. They call it an inn, but definitely a motel.
