I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was small, hot, and shabby. Although it had been recently re-painted, it had mostly outdated built-in furniture. The bathroom was also likely recently renovated, but poorly done, as if by someone who never stays in hotels. The sink’s vanity was small and sloped, so things either slipped to the ground or into the sink. There were two narrow shelves hung high on the wall - not sure of their purpose. There were cheap products - a combo of shampoo and conditioner and a relic of a hair dryer. There were several Russia Today channels but no options for decent English-language news and certainly no English language shows. CNN or BBC would’ve been adequate. The breakfast buffet was on par with what you’d get at a dingy Motel 6 or Comfort Inn. The eggs were inedible and the cold cuts looked like they came from an East German gas station market; there were no fresh Italian salumi or cheeses. On the plus side, the staff hustled to bring guests plentiful coffee. On our second night, after sweating through our first night, we asked for someone to fix our air conditioning. A supposedly 10 minute wait turned into 90 minutes, only to be told that the heat was on - they had not yet switched to AC. We were eventually brought a fan - after a nearly 2 hour unnecessary runaround. The hotel staff were friendly and appeared to sincerely do their best, but the hotel was still very disappointing. By far the worst Marriott property I’ve ever experienced.

If you're staying at a Renaissance you would expect higher standards than a Marriott. Not the case here. Small, cramped room, synthetic pillows, shower is a box. Location is good and room was quiet if you're facing the courtyard. Service very pleasant. No gym but you have the use of a great club next door (bring your ID).

We stayed for 2 nights in August during a 1 month trip through Italy, this is one of the best Hotels we stayed in. Super comfortable room, with a view of the harbour , staff were very keen to help advised on the best things to do and assisted in booking our tours. The rooftop pool is a special place to relax and unwind after a day exploring. We had access to the gym next door which was great, a very well equipped facility and we made use of the classes and gym during our stay. Healthy option food choices were available and the breakfast had an excellent variety. Great location for access to the city centre and the hop on/off buses are in walking distance if you plan to explore using them. I would definately stay in future. Perfect for health concious travellers.

Stayed 13/14 Mar to be close to the action and airport. Checked in around 3PM with ease and joy. Upgraded to 8th floor. Great location. Took off right away for some adventures along Via Toledo and through Port Alba cobble stone street. Wonderful view of roof terrace by day or night to lounge around. Excellent breakfast provided before exploring more of Naples. I will be back in the near future with my wife. Thanks!

Not a bad hotel by any means and in a good location, but three things to be aware of. First of all the roof-top restaurant is being refurbished so no roof-top breakfasts are currently on offer. Secondly, only access at present to the roof and lovely views of the bay and Versuvius is by using the small solarium terrace and you aren't allowed up there until 5pm. Finally, we joined Marriott's rewards programme as the website said we would be eligible for free wifi but were told at the hotel it only applies to the higher level membership level, i.e. those who had already accrued loads of points.

I stayed here for just one night but the experience was excellent from check-in to departure. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly those on reception. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is 2 mins walk from the Castell Nuovo and 5 mins walk from the Alibus (airport bus) stop at the port. It is also just around the corner from the main shopping street with the high-end stores mixed in with some great cafes and restaurants. If you are going to use the Hop-On Hop-Off buses then make sure you buy the ticket from the hotel reception as they offer a discounted rate of 19 Euros per adult.

Great location and smart lobby. Staff mainly great. Room well furnished but smaller than expected as we'd paid for a more expensive one with a panoramic view. And the view WAS fantastic. But we hadn't been told that refurbishing/building work would be happening to rooms just a few doors from us - spoilt the romance of it all a bit. And whilst I thought the roof top bar might not be operating because of it being February I had looked forward to breakfast and maybe dinner in the top floor restaurant with the view - but that wasn't being used either and instead took place in small area above the lobby. All a bit disappointing especially as this was for our Wedding anniversary. If we had known about the building work and lack of main restaurant we wouldn't have booked this.

Location is good and the reception area is spacious and pleasant. Reception staff is absolutly helpful and very kind. Bedroom is confortable but not excelent, neither the smell of it. The breakfast time is a bit stressful due some not very well trained waiters, and lot of guess eating at the same time: 9 am but the view is stunning! The food too ;-)

I have stayed here a few times and enjoyed the hotel and staff. Breakfast is on the roof top and has a great selection of foods and beverages. Parking is available if you are renting a car. Many restaurants are located withing a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Several shopping areas are close by as well. Rooms are of good size and are well appointed.

Yes the location is good and the reception area is spacious and pleasant. Helpful reception staff. The bedroom was ordinary and the mattress wasn’t good. The bathroom floor was badly cracked. WiFi is not free in the bedroom- extraordinary in this day. The breakfast room does have a stunning view but struggles to cope with the numbers of guests and is most unrelaxing.
