Located near the water, it's a quick walk to a promenade where a park, shopping, restaurants and Castel Dell'Ovo are located. There's a grocery store across the narrow street, and a taxi 'station' around the corner. Easy access to buses and the funicular stations via the streets and alleys of Naples, if you want public transportation. Breakfast should satisfy the tastes of most everyone, such was the variety. Unconfirmed: family-owned hotel. Confirmed: in the center of multiple gelato shops, which seems a given in Italy, but specifically, Il Gelato Mennella.

The staff was great and spoke English. The hotel is classic and much nicer than most hotels. The little cation is central to high end retailers and a short walk to the sea. Beds were firm but comfortable. Shower was hot with great water pressure. My room was small (203) but I didn’t mind. It was perfect for my one night of transition. Warning! This place books up quickly. My only regret was not getting another night before they sold out. Breakfast was continental and delicious! I would come back again for sure. Thank you for connecting me with a fantastic driver !

Superb stay. Concierge could be more «  concierge «

Elegantly appointed, clean, with upscale shopping and beach nearby. Exceeded expectations and made our Naples stay delightful. We were able to walk to dinner every night and felt safe. Close to a beautiful piazza and pretty architecture all around. The AC works well, hotel staff is helpful, and the amenities are by ETRO. They read our Orbitz request made for two beds and were prepared upon our arrival. No bedbugs. Highly recommend.

So I think the room was a bit pricey for the size - and we stayed at 4 different hotels during our stay in Italy, and only one night in Naples. The hotel was clean, seemed well maintained, the breakfast was very nice, and the facility seemed to be well kept overall. I wasn't too impressed with the friendliness of the staff, although, they certainly weren't rude - just to the point. The usual room amenities were not available, no wash clothes, and pretty thin towels. I just felt that for the price, they could have provided better, as it wasn't the cheaper hotel on the block. As for location, it's a short walk to the water from the hotel to view Capri, and you're right in the heart of the upscale shopping district. There were many restaurants on the water walkway, including the ones on the island by the castle. But so you know, the ride from the train station (and to the airport) are no short spins. Don't try and walk from the train station - didn't look like good neighborhoods. Traffic was also a constant nightmare, although, given the hotel was not on a street, it was pretty quiet. We had the hotel arrange our transportation for us, and this was reliable, although, the air conditioner was out of commission in the car on the ride to the hotel - so it was a bit stinky and we were a little sweaty upon arrival. So for a few days, it's workable if you can afford it. But I wouldn't want to be there much longer than that - It wasn't everything I expected it to be.
