We stayed for 3 nights after arriving from Milan flight. IT WAS GREAT. The location is just fabulous - in the centro storico - we were to see so many of the classic wonderful sights. Was so great to stop back at hotel or return after dinner so easily.... It was in a great area - quiet, good price and good breakfast. No complaints at all - big room - although we took a triple because that was all they had - it was ONE BIG ROOM AND BIG BATHROOM... I'd stay there again!!!
I stayed here with my mum from 25th-28th April. The hotel is in a great location if you want to see real Naples with Lots of great places to eat nearby. Our room was spacious and clean and was a perfect base for our stay, metro stops close by which was great for getting around. The staff where polite and friendly and even arranged a taxi for us back to the airport which was only €17 (for 2 people)The fixed Fare from the airport is supposedly €20 but our driver from the airport to the hotel refused to give us a fixed fare as it was a holiday the day we landed with lots of traffic so used the clock and it came to €35 so arranging through the hotel is definitely worth it. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I return to Naples :).
The hotel has a great location near beautiful piazzas and next to some great restaurants. My travel companions and I were able to use it as a base to the whole city and region. Near by metro stops allow for easy access to train stations that can take you to Rome or Salerno or anywhere in Italy. The wifi is a little spotty, but when traffic is low it works just fine.
Stayed here for 5 nights with my husband in March. The location could not have been better. If you stay in this area you will experience the real Naples and its narrow alleys. Fascinating stuff! My room was large, very well maintained, and it had a small but lovely balcony. I'm not sure all rooms have one so it's a good idea to ask. Breakfast was included and it's excellent. Walking distance from the train station, it took us less than half hour to get there by foot (walking slowly). Just go straight on Via dei Tribunali for 10-15 minutes and you will find Via del Giudice by the old tower. We can't wait to go back to Naples, and will certainly stay at Neapolis again.
After the scariest and thrilling ride from the airport, we arrived around Midnight and we welcomed to the hotel even at the late hour. The rooms were decent sized, clean and comfortable. It's true as others say that it's on a busy street that is noisy until the wee hours.I suggest you bring ear plugs but otherwise enjoy the vibrancy of the area. It is very centrally located and you can walk to pretty much anything you need or want. Our only complaint is that we did to leave our balcony door open in order to vent the portable AC (it was very warm when we were there) so we didn't get the best cooling but we managed somehow to survive. Breakfast was suitable but there is so much available locally you may want to skip it. We enjoyed our stay here and would go again if we ever return to Naples.
couldnt be better placed for seeing everything. furniture quite basic, but clean and well equipped, fridge, balcony etc. Staff were for the most part helpful, especially one member who was extremely helpful. Hotel is a little tricky to find, as its behind the main road. Just look for the tower. enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is a super-centric 3 stars, with several services, a typical structure (within a Neapolitan building with access through a courtyard with hanged clothes), an extremely kind and welcoming reception and a not bad breakfst choice (beverages are better than cakes). On the other side the hotel rooms do need renovation, they look so old and lacking of maintenance. The street overlooked by the hotel is in fact very lively and crowded but the double glasses of the windows proved perfect to sleep well. So - I would recommend to renew the rooms, linen etc. to match the definitely good points of the place.
we had read various reports about this hotel but decided to give it a try it is in the heart of the historical centre,and as such you would expect it to be bustling with tourists,and locals,so we were not disappointed it was vibrant,chaotic,and yes energisingly loud!!! and we loved it. the hotel is situated on the 3rd floor which you reach by lift,the room was rustic and clean,we overlooked the via tribunali and watched the masses of people weave their way through, so much to see that you need to visit this area a few times to take it all in reception staff at this hotel were very helpful,and advised us about various places. this hotel is ideally placed yes it can be noisey , but if you choose to stay in the centre then you have to accept that this will be part of your experiance it did not take away from our stay i would say we became part of it loved it
If you are renting a car into the city don't choose this hotel. We drove from the Amalfi coast into Naples and couldn't find the hotel. It's not marked on the outside. We had to drive back to airport turn in our car and take taxi in even then we had to ask how it get into the hotel it is on a side street through a gate up three flights of stairs. Our refrigerator didn't work and the staff was less than present. Thankfully it was out last night before flying out the next day otherwise we would have not stayed here.
Hotel as part of our 1st pit stop in Naples as part of our 'Walking the Amalfi' Intrepid tour. The hotel itself has nice amenities, room is clean and presentable and bed was comfortable. The concierge was charming and friendly- awesome free wifi! Breakfast was adequate. Unfortunately, the airconditioning does not work! If your room faces towards the main street, be prepared to stay awake pretty much all night because it is sooo loud and noisy! The room's downside is that without aircon, it is quite stuffy and hot- we had no choice but to leave the doors open. Such a shame really! Other people claimed that the hotel, though near the centre of town, was not easy to find.
