Hotel Piazza Bellini3.0 out of 5.0

We were in Naples for just 2 days but the hotel was a great spot. The location is a little further north of center but walking down to the coast and o the attractions was not difficult. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby as well. The room was comfortable in size, although the bed and pillows were very firm making it a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was simple but good and the staff was helpful in answering questions and arranging transportation. I would recommend using a taxi to get to the train station from the hotel or vice versa.
So glad we found Hotel Piazza Bellini. Small (think there are only about 36 rooms), very well located, and exceptional staff make it a great hotel for couples, family (saw lots there) and business. Walkable to so much as it's in the central historic district. Tons of great restaurants nearby - especially L'Etto - the neighboring restaurant.
Located is very good. On main street in the historical center Of Naples. A lot of restaurants, pizzeria everywhere, High level of personal security because of the police's presence in the area. 5 minutes walk to the Dante piazza and the metro station' and the many little shops in the old town. The rooms are very basic. Minimal furniture, that looks more like an industrial stile and not as a boutique hotel. The t/v/screen is a laptop's size. There is no lobby or bar or cafeteria where one can seat and have some light meal. Breakfast is basic plus. All and all, a good solution for some nights in a high price.
This hotel was recommended by a friend and what a revelation, it was an oasis of calm in the chaos of bustling Naples, we were not sure what to expect as the taxi arrived and the street was overwhelmed with rubbish and graffiti being a Sunday, but the hotel was like a home away from home, it was calm and quiet. We stayed for 7 nights and the staff couldn't do enough as they were so helpful and knowledgeable. Location wise it's fantastic as you are 5/10 mins walk from both metro lines and 5 mins to the Archaelogical Museum. The beds were big and super comfy, powerful showers, lovely high ceilings in the rooms and our room looked out onto a lovely courtyard where you could have a drink or coffee. There was a great selection at breakfast, probably too many sweet things for my taste and you had the option to get a expresso or cappucino which was nice coffee. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would have liked a bin in the bedroom, there was only the bathroom one and no option to seperate waste if I was being picky about things! A lovely gesture was a bottle of wine and a bag of pasta as we had booked direct with the hotel, rather than with a booking site. This place is a gem and a real find.
My husband and I loved this little oasis in Naples! Tucked in on a busy street, the hotel was quiet and felt very safe. We loved the quirky decor, the friendly staff and the included breakfast. Plenty of meal options nearby. Another plus is the hotel strives to be environmentally friendly. Highly recommend, a great value.
A very special hotel experience, in the heart of the old city. We choose the location for its proximity to the Archeological Museum and metro stations. We discovered we were also in the heart of the arts district, near great restaurants and lively street life. Our modern room had a terrace with beautiful views of the city, and we enjoyed the fine breakfasts and cocktail hour in the serenity of the hotel garden. Staff were very friendly and always helpful, from calling cabs to suggesting excellent restaurants nearby. We felt very secure navigating the city from Hotel Bellini, and always happy to return after a long day of touring Pompeii, Herculaneum, and crazy, vibrant, stunning Napoli..
Our family of four stayed at Piazza Bellini hotel for a night last week. It is a block away from the Archaeological Museum which was our main focus for the day. The room was a split level for four people and very thoughtfully designed with all amenities. Even though we faced the street, it was not very noisy as it was a Sunday. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and the fresh ricotta along with the breakfast buffet spread was delicious. A great location to enjoy the restaurants along Via Tribunale.
The terrace we had was stunning, far better than advertised, OK Naples is terribly abused by graffiti, but we loved the position, the piazza was fun. The area is lively 'til the early hours.....possibly later
Spent two nights here after a pretty last minute booking. For a 3-star hotel we thought the place was great and reasonably priced. Our spacious family room had a double, single and then room for a cot with plenty of room to move around. Good storage space and a compact but functional bathroom with very nice products. Communal areas (especially the courtyard sitting area) are cool and the breakfast room and food were a highlight. The bar service was a bit random - a real missed opportunity as the courtyard is a cool place to sit with a drink. Service overall was good including with our kids. It's very central to the historic part of town making it convenient but bustling. Some might be put off by that but we liked it. Proximity to the excellent Archeological Museum is a real bonus. Beware parking though - nothing onsite and the recommended parking station is chaos and pretty expensive.
just perfect for 5 days in napoli easy transfer from airport walking distance to all sights, restaurants friendly staff cool room, modern, functional, nice view of surrounding city and castle great breakfast would return in a heartbeat
