Hotel Piazza Bellini3.0 out of 5.0

The Hotel Piazza Bellini is situated in Naples Old Town. Perfect for wandering the streets and browsing the shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel atmosphere is ‘funky modern’. There is an excellent, modestly priced partner restaurant next door providing a great variety of very reasonably priced food. Our room had a terrace overlooking the hills and provided a great view at night. In particular I want to thank the staff without whose quick thinking help and kindness I would have had to return home without my spectacles! I cannot praise them highly enough! Thank you Hotel Piazza Bellini!!
We stayed here one night. The location is ideal, being only a few blocks away from the archaeological Museum. Security is tight here and it does seem like a safe place to stay in a town that feels slightly dangerous. Our room was clean with a nice balcony. The breakfast was included and it was decent, although short of being fabulous.
Clean, friendly, well located hotel that has everything you need for a comfortable stay in naples. Good choice of food at breakfast and good sized rooms kept us happy on our 4 night stay. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed here for 7 days in September, great hotel in a great location ( old town Naples is the only area of the city i would recommend staying ).The hotel staff were excellent, the room ( 5th floor terrace ) was great, breakfast and hotel areas were all very good, super air con. The only let down in the hotel was the internet service.I really needed good internet this trip so booked this hotel as it makes a point of it's WiFi on the hotel website, unfortunately it was very poor. Very slow, sometimes so slow i could not even send email, staff tried to help by rebooting router but did not improve. A real shame because other than this the hotel is pretty much perfect.
Love this hotel! Oversized luxurious cotton towels, quality mattresses, great linens, amazing water pressure - everything you want in a hotel. Also, beautiful attention to design and really courteous staff.
I was pleased with my stay in this hotel. It was the cleanest place we have been to in Naples. The service was very convenient, they made sure that everything was perfect and they were also very nice. I loved the creative aspects of the hotel like the illustrations on the walls. I also loved that there was a bottle opener to the side of the hotel room door. I loved the high ceilings. I also loved that you could sit in the piazza and relax. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice set up in the breakfast room. It was well organized and the food was so fresh and so good.
I am checking out today and didn't want to delay this review. I cannot say enough about this boutique hotel. Our triple room was spacious, which I was not expecting, very clean and airy. You can see it was an old building converted into a hotel by the high ceilings and the way the rooms were situated, the wonderful way they utilized the common space and the charming courtyard. Lastly, the service was excellent, from the many emails I sent prior to my arrival to my many questions during my stay. They were always prompt and courteous. In my opinion they went above and beyond (they actual called the restaurant I was dining in last night to ask me if an earlier transfer in the morning would be ok). The service here was equal or better than the many 5-star hotel that I have stayed in. I highly recommend!
Everything well said in the other comments. We enjoyed our stay very much. Had a lovely room with terrace, nice view, clean and comfortable. Too bad the AC only works when the keycard is on its place. When you leave the room, electricity swithes off and it means AC too and the room was extremely hot. Another issue is wifi. We couldn't use it through our 6 nights stay. I couldn't even check my mails on my laptop but it was actually an advantage, not even 1 minute work during vacation :) Breakfast was really good. Of course it can be boring after a few days but we had everything for our taste every day. Staff was cheerful and friendly but honestly they didn't even asked or suggested us anything during our stay. It was wierd when we left they just said good bye. Overall it is a very good hotel. Beautiful building and garden, like an oasis in the middle of the crazy city :) I would stay here again every time when I go back to Naples!
Bed is very hard and uncomfortable basic room with a 17 inch monitor for a tv. Seems clean. Street noise is to loud to get any rest. Travel agency Expedia miss booked my stay for two days. Have been on hold with them and the hotel for 2 hours with no positive results. I would not recommend a hotel that does not work with customers. Not sure what anyone found comfortable about this place.
We got a good deal booking direct with hotel - only a standard double available for 5 nights. A Terrace room had become available nearer stay, for 2 nights which we were shown - however despite the good reviews we thought our standard room seemed larger and brighter so decided to keep original booking. We took the taxi deal offered by hotel which took the stress out of the arrival/departure. Our room was fantastic with lovely rooftops view, great value for the price and think they could do even better if breakfast option included fresh fruits, cooked to order hot option. All main sites were all in walking distance. We ate at local restaurant at Dal Presidente (Pizza), L'Etto and La Campagnola (pasta). We visited Capri (€42), Positano(€10) and Vesuvius (€25) all using public transport at an amazing value. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay wonderful at Bellini.
