This hotel is very professionally run and still friendly. The reception staff are very helpful (especially Dario). It’s a 3 star hotel but due to it being new it’s better than most 4 star places. It’s stylishly done throughout with the 4th floor having 2 old lambrettas as decoration. Nice touch. The location is great for wandering around with a good selection of restaurants and bars. The next door restaurant where you get a 10% discount is also worth a visit for its great buffet lunch. Overall we’d easily stay here again.

Booked on the basis of the fantastic reviews this hotel consistently gets... its a good hotel with a great location, but its not worthy of 5 stars in my opinion. The room was spacious but sparse, the bathroom needed upgrading (especially the shower, tiles & shower door), tea & coffee facilities would be a nice addition to the room while you shower before breakfast. The tv (in our room anyway) was mounted on a steel pole on a low steel bench, as someone else has mentioned - it kind of reminded me of an Ibis hotel - it is certainly not 4 star luxury and I did feel it was expensive for what we got (we booked directly with the hotel). Breakfast was sufficient to set you up before heading out for the day, but it was the same every day and hot dogs with scrambled eggs was an odd twist! Great location for exploring the city but I think we'd be inclined to try somewhere else next time

Great location in piazza so many bars, restaurants, cafes, historical sites . Hotel has all amenities you would expect, very stylish, very clean and modern in an old setting Staff are amazing their knowledge and customer service is outstanding Praise to Cristina and Paola they were so helpful and cheerful ! With great English! Breakfast was appreciated it was just enough to set you up for the day Sat outside in courtyard relaxing with drink from the bar The terrace view rooms at the top of the hotel had great views , ours were of Vesuvius Would go again it was a perfect 4 night stay in an atmospheric city

I did my research on hotels in Naples and found this hotel recommended on a number of websites. I ended up booking directly with the hotel as all of the accommodation websites had no availability. It’s a charming hotel in the “old town” with a lovely courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of prosecco, a WiFi area, a small but sufficient bar area and possibly the nicest staff I have ever encountered in a city centre hotel. Unfortunately our return flights to the UK were cancelled twice and at the time of writing this I very much hope our 3rd attempt gets us home. The staff have been great in helping with the admin of this, printing our fresh boarding cards and transfer information. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Naples.

This was our first visit to Napoli and our choice of hotel was influenced by an article in The Sunday Times. On arrival at the airport we phoned the hotel as instructed and a taxi was with us in a few minutes. It was a fixed price and I would thoroughly recommend this service. The hotel is in a pleasant location and it is easy to access areas such as the port, stations and the Royal Palace on foot as well as having a good choice of restaurants nearby. When we checked in I was a bit surprised by the outfits worn by staff, rather like an army uniform which perhaps gave the wrong impression as it seemed a bit austere. However the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite large and overlooked the internal courtyard which is a very pleasant spot. However I did find the room a bit stark and cold.. There was nothing to soften it and a lack of drawers made me think of an Ibis hotel. The bathroom was adequate but perhaps needed a bit of modernisation. Breakfast was excellent and offered plenty of choice. All in all given the location this is a good place to stay but perhaps a bit expensive given the quality of the room

Nice place to stay! Breakfast was good though simple, staff were friendly, facilities were lovely. It was very comfortable. Our room even had a terrace overlooking the central courtyard. The location on Piazza Bellini was good - it’s a popular tourist neighborhood with lots of pizza restaurants nearby, and there’s a square with terraced bars just outside. Despite the bars being steps away, it was amazingly quiet at night, and we slept very well! I would recommend. Also, keep in mind that the prices of hotel don’t include city tax - we paid 5€ extra per night with the tax.

We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Piazza Bellini and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The hotel is very well positioned in Naples, in the old town and within a short walk of many historical sights such as the Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral, the Cappella Sansevero (chapel) and many other lesser known places of interest such as the Torture Museum in Vico Santa Luciella, which is definitely worth a visit! The Metro is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, from which you can easily travel to places such as Vesuvius and Pompeii (Metro from Dante to Garibaldi and the train from Garibaldi to Pompeii). The Metro is very cheap (€1.20) and rail travel is also inexpensive. The hotel looks quite modest from the street, but it's a quite wonderful place to stay with comfortable (and quiet) air conditioned bedrooms. The room we stayed in had a very small TV with limited channels, but we had no time to watch this anyway. There was a mini bar - with reasonable prices for a change. For example, a large bottle of mineral water cost just €1.50. which is more or less what you might expect to pay in the market. The air conditioning was very efficient (worked from a cordless remote control) and the room safe was large enough to hold a small laptop as well as all our passports and other valuables. The shower was powerful and immediately hot enough. The bathroom (shower, no bath) was large and well designed. The breakfast was included in our package, and we didn't expect much. However we were pleasantly supplied. it consists of a self-service buffet with plenty of scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages (frankfurter style), cereals, bread, toast, cold meats and cheeses and fruit (the fruit salad was tinned rather than fresh which was the only disappointment). The one thing that persuaded me to give this hotel the full five stars was the staff. Without exception they were polite and helpful. All spoke perfect English and were at pains to ensure that we had everything we needed. They made recommendations for eating out (perfect) and helped us plan trips to the museums and to Capri, Vesuvius and Pompeii. One last thing I would mention: we paid in advance for a late checkout (3:00pm), but decided that we didn't need it and thought we would lose the extra we had paid. Not a bit of it: the young lady at reception spoke to her manager and offered to set the cost off against the Naples 'City Tax' (this is an extra that is not included in the hotel cost and must be paid at check-out, in our case €5.00 per night for the two of us) and also other extras we had incurred during our stay (tea and wine in the Courtyard, mini bar and room service). This was very much appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful hotel and hope one day to return.

Fantastic stay in old town of Naples. The hotel is really comfortable, great buffet breakfast, peaceful courtyard to relax, room 206 was spacious with terrace overlooking the street & square, lots of atmosphere & bustle, but easily stopped by closing door & shutters with air con to keep room cool. Helpful staff who speak excellent English. Loads to see & do within walking distance. Lots of bars, restaurants & amazing pizzas. We felt safe & secure - very authentic experience, don’t believe all the hype & bad publicity. Better then Florence or Venice!

Having just returned from Naples we feel we have to write and give some feedback on our stay at the Hotel Piazza Bellini. Having read about the hotel in the Sunday Times we were looking forward to our stay and were not disappointed. The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Naples being only a few minutes walk away from one of the many shopping streets which also had a great selection of bars, restaurants and street food. We had booked a Bi-level room which in hindsight was not a good idea as I had recently had an operation on my knee and the stairs to go up to the bedroom were quite steep. The hotel would have changed our room but unfortunately they were fully booked which we were not surprised about. The layout of the room was very spacious with a lounge and good sized dining area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. Breakfast was served in a room just off the lovely courtyard. It was buffet style breakfast with a great selection ranging from fresh pastries, croissants, fresh bread, salami, cheeses, fresh tomatoes to cereal and fresh fruit. It is the little things that make the hotel stand out from its competition, whether it is the fact that they will organise a taxi for you from and to the airport/ train station and ferry port, all of which journeys are covered by a pre arranged flat fee that the hotel has agreed. The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Unfortunately we cannot name one member of staff who stood out the most as they were all very friendly and very helpful. We booked directly through the hotel which was very straightforward. When we return to Naples we will definitely be returning to the Hotel Piazza Bellini.

Stayed here for 3 nights having previously stayed at the hotel Romeo we wanted to be more central. Which this one is. Very friendly staff helpful and spoke good English for those who don’t speak Italian. Breakfast was very good and there was a nice courtyard to sit and relax in too. The only minor thing I have to say was our toiletries in the room were never replaced. Think they should be checked daily. Apart from that this is a great hotel.
