Nice hotel

Nice hotel close to the beach. Very friendly and extremely heplful staff. Daily cleaning. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Garage for cars. A beautiful pool near the hotel. The only thing, the shower cabin could be bigger. Generally a good place to stay. We heve had a nice time over there. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, very pleasant and accommodating staff.

Nice hotel, very pleasant and accommodating staff. Local area isn’t the best for exploring on foot (especially at night) but used this hotel as a base and explored Naples, Pompei & Amalfi area in a hire car which was ideal. Lovely pool with a bar and quiet so no problems getting sun loungers etc.

Just a home base.

Near the beach? Yes, with a rental car or a taxi. The pool was very nice, it just isn't very close to the rooms as it is outside the hotel, down the street, then down an alley and across a parking lot. The hours are 10am to 6pm; about the time you return from a hot sweaty trip to see some sights, so many days we missed the pool hours. In Costa Rica or Hawaii, you can get up in the middle of the night for a warm dip in the pool then back to bed. This wasn't the case here. On the weekends the pool fills up with an enormous amount of people that didn't seem to be staying in the hotel, but everyone was friendly. If you are unclear on where to visit or what transportation, you will end up googling it or getting to know a member of the staff. The owners were quiet and friendly, but little to no conversation. When our baggage was lost the owner was good to help to speak to the people when we needed it. Some members of the staff are miraculous with their English speaking skills and are of enormous help with finding interesting places to see and the pros and cons of getting there. So thank you, Emanuela! The room had some issues, but it worked for my purposes. The bed was okay, the kitchenette had a decent fridge, microwave, and non-working stove. An old hotplate was plopped on top with one burner shorted out. The bathroom decent but the shower leaked on the floor and was barely big enough for a 6,2" 185lbs male to shower in. Very small and cramped.

Pool was closed even tho listing said it was open, stated free area shuttle which was not available, at least 1 km walk to ANYTHING. No restaurants near by and everything was closed on Sunday evening leaving us no way to eat. One day no housekeeping. Internet was very spotty. Staff was very nice and tried to help as much as they were able.

Lovely hotel near to beach

We had a very good holiday, the hotel is in Lagos Patria which has a lovely beach looking out to the island of Ischia. There were a variety of places to eat near, especially the chicken carry out. The food was very tasty. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable. The hotel had a really good pool area which was only busy on a Sunday, however there always seemed to be more than enough sun loungers. Some days, for long periods we were the only people there. Nevertheless there was a pool side bar which also sold hot snacks. Although the hotel was located about 30 Kms from Naples, the bus service is good. There is an express bus (19N) which gets you to the city quickly very close to the metro, usually one per hour. We were able to visit Pompeii and other attractions. The hotel will offer to run you to the nearest railway station and pick you up, but we much preferred the bus. The people in the area are very friendly and helpful, including the Neopolitans. There are shops are very close, including a supermarket. The hotel didn't seem to mind if you brought back wine and food to eat on your small room balcony, the room included a fridge. There are a number of basic restaurants in Lago Patria selling pizza and pasta, nothing fancy but good value. We really liked the barbecue chicken carry out. If you want a quiet holiday you will like this area.

Hotel nowhere near Naples

This is not an Autumn resort.There was nothing close by at all. It is run down. When you do get to the beach you just see rubbish and run down buildings. The nearby shops offered slices of pizza, coffee, cakes and ice cream. Fortunately there was a supermarket so I could buy food. The breakfast was mainly cakes but adequate. The owners will run you to the train station if you wish to visit Naples. Maybe use this as a base to drive to places but as a single traveller in rainy weather I spent most of the time in my cold room. I definitely misunderstood this hotel as being in Naples.

Beyond Pompei

This was a great small hotel within 10km of many amazing Greek and Roman archeological sites like Cuma, Baia and Pozzouli. It was also just a short trip to a lovely beach and good public transport to Napoli and beyond. It was fantastic to have a siesta and relax by a wonderful swimming pool in the afternoon.

Great hotel with a pool. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff. Very good sized air-conditioned room with comfortable bed, good internet access. The rooms are impeccable clean. Atmosphere is awesome and friendly people. The beach is 15 min away.

... lovely staff, comfortable bed and pillows, very good sized air-conditioned room with balcony overlooking the main road, very good sound insulation, wifi signal in the room is good, lift, secure parking. breakfast is the same every day but lots of choices e.g. cereals, bread, cakes, egg, bacon. coffee machine was playing up during our stay but we are not bothered. the good natured staff made our stay worthwhile.

A nice budget Hotel with a pool, nice breakfast,could do with some more literature on site seeing and public transport, Sadly on our walks to and from the beach and further on to restaurants we were greeted with litter everywhere even on the beach!

FOR PRICE AND SERVICE, CAN'T BE BETTER

I must start saying that is a hotel of 40 euros, so you can't expect to be in a 5* hotel, but honestly we were really nice impressed. We need to be in this neighborhood and this was the only option available. The rooms are incredible big, all have kitchenette, table to eat and a desk, separate is the room with a king size bed and a single (triple), tv in the room with free cable channels, good internet access. The rooms are impeccable clean, better than many 5* hotels. The owners are just great, 2 nights I wanted a coffee and they made it for me without charge. There is a young man who speaks good English who helps you with ferries, restaurants, etc. Also they have with charge services to the airport, train station and downtown Naples(which is about 30 minutes by car). The breakfast includes all kind of pastries, pancakes, coffees, juices, yogurts, cereal, fresh fruit and basic ham, cheese and eggs, but honestly for that price nowhere you will get even half or it. The bad thing we could say about our stay is the shower, is really small, no bigger than 2 x 2 feet, my husband could hardly take a shower there., but the bathroom was big. I will stay there again if I have to without any doubt.

Its a bit outta the way, the staff have people who speak little to no english working there, but they are helpful. It's a beautiful village friendly people and awesome beaches . Take the bus!! M1B gets you to naples to train stations we rode for free every time!***** If the hotel staff offer rides I would suggest being upfront and clarifying Shuttle costs beforehand.breakfast is awesome lots of selection usually till 1030am.

Accueil tres acceuillant boisson offerte a l'arrivee chambre spacieuse surprise a l'ouverture nous avions une kitchenette qui nous a bien depannee petite superette et rotisserie pas tres loin Bemol sur l'emplacement un peu loin de Naples centre Gros point negatif : la piscine qui est sans surveillance et surtout probleme d'entretien on avait a la fin du sejour une mare aux grenouilles ( probleme surement de filtration l'eau etait devenue verte )

Elke dag kregen we nieuw beddengoed en handdoeken. De bedden waren hard, ik vond dat wel fijn. De badkamer rook wel muf. We hadden de kamer aan de kant van de weg, maar we hadden geen last van het geluid. Ook was er een rolluik die alles goed donker maakte. Op een balkon konden we met 2 personen op zitten. Het ontbijt was oké. Het zwembad lag niet bij het hotel, maar een straat verder en ging ook pas na 9 uur open. Wij hebben er geen gebruik van gemaakt. Ook niet omdat het weer niet zo goed was. De sfeer in het hotel ontbrak, waardoor wij zo veel mogelijk op pad zijn geweest met de huur auto. Zonder auto is het Hotel geen aanrader.
