We were lucky to spend nights of our family vacation in Belle Arti Resort in october 2017 and everything was just great! All rooms were very clean and cozy. Also getting contact and info before the vacation and how to get the key - Marco always answered fast, even to sms! Breakfast was great - you can choose whatever you want from eggs and bacon to healthy jogurt and fruitsalat, not like usually in Italy only bread and jam :) Very big plus was rental car parking system - you just called them and Giovanni came to pick up your car in front of the hotel and returned it in the morning to you - PERFECT! :) Family Pent from Estonia is very thankful for all Belle Arti Resort team and gives best suggestion!

The title of our review reflects we didnt book here. We arrived at our hotel to be informed that the air conditioning had broken down and couldn't be repaired, so we were being moved to a much larger room in a local hotel. The staff were very helpful, walking us round to the Belle Arti, carrying our bags. We even got a short historical tour of Naples on the way. On check in we were given a map and a comprehensive talk on where we needed to be for the attractions we wanted to visit. Great stuff! The room was very big, cool, with lovely raised fresco ceiling, but my partner was disappointed there was no Spa bath - the reason she had booked the original hotel. There never seemed to be more than one or two staff present at any time, but the room was made up with fresh towels. Some would say this was lovely unobtrusive management, but we suspected they were running on a skeleton staff, and that the hotel might just have been open for a few days to accommodate the overspill. There were no drinks facilities in the room, and no instructions on how to work the TV. After two days of trying, we did get a picture but could only access one channel. The WiFi was free and excellent. The staff, when we saw them, excellent. Still, a slightly odd experience, but the night life in the area was great, yet there was no noise.

Not quite a resort but still a nice place. We stayed in one of the larger rooms with an amazing ceiling. The bathroom was rather cramped and service was limited to breakfast but the location (just a few hundred meters from the archeological museum and the lively piazza bellini) in combination with the frescoes in our room made it a good place to stay. We could not park the car at the hotel site but the nearby garage was perfectly fine.

If there was a way I could give 0 stars I would. The reason being...this hotel was closed upon my arrival and unwilling to refund my money. I made several attempts to contact the hotel as so stood outside their door and was unsuccessful. Used booking.com to reserve and they were no better. Both companies unwilling to refund my money despite screen shots clearly indicating the hotel confirmed my later than usual arrival time. I am appalled. The area from what I could see of it at night was also quite rowdy and dirty...not at all a place I would recommend. Stay away if you want to use your money at a hotel that will actually let you inside to sleep.

We had a very different experience then other reviewers- newly renovated room with not a fresco in sight. Our room was totally adequate- it had only one small window high up in the corner so it felt windowless. Room was clean with a few stray hairs in the bathroom, but not a huge problem. Staff was helpful. Location is excellent- we stayed here just for one night- not sure I'd spend a long trip here but we were perfectly happy. Skipped the breakfast in favor of walking through Naples.

We arrived after 23.00hrs and taxi entirely misdirected us, dropping us a short distance away & pointing.....we trailed up & down and everyone seemed to know the hotel but had different ideas of where it was. Tip: the address is 27 via Santa Maria Di Constantinopli (which is a pretty Main Street in the area) - the number is on the wall by some huge doors but these gates are merely the entrance to a courtyard, if you stand right in front of the doors, you will see a small sign on the right informing you that the entrance to the hotel is inside the courtyard (in Italian) but at night, with no lights, the forbidding facade is simply no clue that this is the hotel! But have faith. Make sure you check the exact location (don't rely on a taxi) and just find the number on the street. Ensure your mobile is enabled for overseas calls and that you have the number of the main / sister hotel Neopolis and call them on arrival if there is no reply to the entry phone. We tried calling the hotel Belle Arti number, with no response, so make sure you have the Neopolis number. I know this sounds troublesome - but it is worth it! The hotel is charming, comfortable, QUIET and excellently located for the old quarter of Naples. Elderly but adequate.

The Belle Arti is effectively an annexe of the nearby Hotel Neapolis. As such, the friendly and helpful staff were not on hand, although they were only a phone call away. Our bedroom was large and well appointed. However, the bathroom smelt of urine even after cleaning and the shower was old and didn't work very well. Both bedroom and bathroom needed to be redecorated properly. The location is good and the communal areas are clean.

We stayed here this october for about a week. The hotel, while located in the derelict center of the city is spotlessly clean and within walking distance of most of the major churches, the archeological museum and some of the best restaurants. It is also surprisingly calm considering its location. The rooms have huge ceilings and small but adequate bathrooms. The breakfast is so-so but is good value since it is very cheap. Security is good with video surveillance of the surroundings and 3 different doors. The only drawbacks were a useless safe (not tied to the wall !), lack of personnel during the evening and the night and not very convenient parking. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay.

My mother and I recently stayed here (03/10/16-06/10/16) and were really happy with our stay! The hotel is in an excellent position and we enjoyed being able to walk around and explore the characteristic streets of Naples. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We sat down on arrival and were shown a map of where we were and what was close by, which includes the street that pizza originated on 'Via Tribunali'! The street is only about a 15 minute walk from the hotel however it did take us a few days to actually figure out how to get to the street as we found the streets in Naples a little confusing. The room we stayed in was very spacious and included two bathrooms (one with a toilet, sink and mirror and another with the shower, sink and mirror), two single beds, a tv, large wardrobe and free wifi! The room was very well presented and clean. We expected it to be very noisy at night being on a very busy street however once the gate to the complex was shut the noise was mostly blocked out. The only negatives we found were: The breakfast that we paid for wasn't very nice, everything tasted a bit stale to us. If the staff are not in the building (which seems to be pretty often) you have to use a key to get in. We had a lot of trouble with actually getting the door to open and would often spend about five minutes turning the key over and over and pushing on the door before getting in. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel and would recommend it!

spacious rooms each with an individual style - really high ceilings with frescos make it really special. Very clean and well fitted out (and loads of coat hangers too). would highly recommend. The only downside was that we had to wait a bit to get it as we arrived earlier than we had planned! so not such a big problem. Great area too, close to the museum and metro, and the historic area
