Positive in general

Aldo is really sympathic, he gave us all the information we needed. The breakfast was good, enough choices to satisfy our teens. Since we were 5 we had an appartment, it was big and the kitchen was complete. Don't forget to check if the water heather is on, because you're first shower might be cold. The entrance is located in a really small street, the neighbourhood seems to be tuff, but it's close to the termini and we could easely walk with our luggages, so it was really a plus for us. A good stay in general.

We were greeted by the owner who provided us with maps and suggestions of what to see in Naples. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom looked recently remodeled and the shower was large with plenty of hot water. There was a sitting area with plenty of chairs and a loft with another bed. The neighborhood doesn't leave one with a good impression but we had no problems and felt safe. It was a short walk to the historical district and we even walked to a beach. The hotel is very close to the train station and metro. We were able to leave our luggage even after we checked out since our train didn't leave until later in the afternoon. The breakfast was fresh and served by the owners. You could even make yourself a panini.

Let me start with saying that we had a wonderful stay at B&B city center. The run up to the stay was not good. The instructions received from Expedia said that we should ring the hotel to tell them our arrival time as there is no front desk. The phone number is not correct. I rang Expedia on 3 different occasions, trying to sort it. It was a shambles. In the end emails were sent to the hotel, but no contact was confirmed. One of the advisors did ring me back and said that she had a team on standby to rehome us. So we started our holiday, not knowing if we would be able to stay there. We were in the taxi on our way to the hotel when I did receive a message from Aldo, the guy who looks after the place, asking if we were on our way, what a relief, and what a lovely guy. He made us feel very welcome. The second issue is we booked the apartment that says 3 bedrooms. It doesn't have 3 bedrooms. It has 2 bedrooms and a kind of living room ajoining the kitchen, with sofa beds. Not what we expected. Aldo did offer to rearrange the beds, but we said no, we would manage. And now the good stuff. The apartment was actually lovely, high ceilings, immaculately clean, balconies over the busy square, lovely little kitchen with dining table. Its not in the best area of Naples, but is perfect if you are planning to travel out of Naples to visit Pompeii etc, as 5 mins from the train station. Breakfast was a lovely bonus, Aldo and Francesca were lovely, great place to stay.

Also and Francesca, our host were very friendly and helpful. They were very attentive to our needs. The room was very bright and spacious. Breakfast selections was very good. The lady that set up breakfast for us was very helpful. The location was convenient enough, especially when we traveled by trains.

Worst hotel staff we have ever experience, I would not recommend staying here to anyone. We arrived to this hotel to be left outside in a very unsafe area in Naples. We could not even enter the building and were left outside on the street to find another hotel to stay in. No one answered the doorbell or phone when we tried calling. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and left us in a very unsafe situation when all surrounding hotels were completely booked for the night. We were extremely upset to be left in this situation and would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Udemærket lille B&B til kort ophold i Catania. Rene værelser, venligt, hjælpsomt og høfligt personale. Gåafstand til byens centrum. Køretur til Etna ca. 45 minutter. Vi rejste 2 voksne med 2 børn i alder 9 og 14. Værelset lidt småt, men hyggeligt, rent og med det mest nødvendige tilgængeligt. Der skal bestiges trapper inden elevatoren nås, hvorfor familier med små børn, klapvogne etc. eller gangbesværede bør overveje dette. Ellers helt fint til prisen.

Un agréable séjour même si la ville de Naples nous a fait une très mauvaise inpression. La chambre est grande, propre et fonctionnelle. Les petits déjeuners copieux. Le personnel très gentil. Point négatif, pas de parking gratuit alors que c'est noté sur la fiche de l'hôtel.

2 bellissime giornate ospitalita fantastica consigli per escursioni noi grazie a loro abbiamo risparmiato sulle escursioni siamo andati a Pompeii e anche Sorrento senzatra lasciare indietro la bellissima Napoli. Tutto il resto che con mappa evidenziato dal personale come dire senza parole un grande grazie, sempre disponibile in qualsiasi momento della giornata suggerimenti a consigli per ristoranti bravissime persone un grande grazie. Il buffet e abbondante buonissimo comodo dalla stazione circa 200 metri e tutti I mezzi pubblici per il prossimo viaggio ci ritorneremo. Maurizio
