Amazing Apartment, newly renovated, located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful Renaissance building provided with elevator and keeper service. The accommodation can host up to 6 people. Moreover, It is possible to request a crib for free. It consists of 3 bedrooms ( 2 with double bed and 1 with twin bed), 3 private bathrooms with shower and courtesy kit, 2 balconies opens onto the quiet inner courtyard, 1 large window, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen + a practical kitchenette. The flat has central heating, air conditioning, TV and Internet Wi-Fi. Located right in the heart of the city, the apartment has a strategic position just a few steps from: Via Toledo (one of the main shopping streets), Plebiscito Square with the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino, the famous Galleria Umberto I, the S. Carlo Theatre and the seafront promenade of Via Caracciolo , with Castel dell'ovo, where you can enjoy the view of the Gulf of Naples. Situated really close to the Funicular railway and the Metro stops line 1 (Municipio and Toledo). The port, from where you can reach Capri, Ischia, Procida and Sorrento, is about 5-minute walk. Finally, in the surroundings you can find a variety of typical restaurants and bakeries where you can taste the famous Neapolitan cuisine known all over the world. You will be spoiled for choice! Old world charm w/comfortably beds

Other than the cranky building attendant and an elevator charge of 10 cents both ways, the apartment was small yet delightful with old world charm.High ceilings with individual room environment system to keep it the right temperature. Doors and stairs are amazingly old and beautiful. Check in process was slow responses and was limited to Italian language only.

Not a High Level Property

This property had clean bathrooms and bedrooms but the kitchen was not clean. The dishes and cutlery and cooking pots were poorly cleaned and we wound up washing anything we were going to use. The whole apartment smells quite musty which makes me think that there is probably mold growing in the walls. The exterior walls of the building are poorly maintained and would allow for water to enter when it rains so it isn't surprising that the unit smells musty. There is no lighting in the exterior stairs. There are lights but the bulbs were burned out so if we wanted to walk up or down from the apartment we needed to use a cell phone flashlight. There is a very small elevator that costs 10 cents to use but it was so small and old that I wasn't comfortable using it. The apartment is just steps from Via Toledo which is a very busy area of Naples. Although convenient to the metro it would have been nicer to stay in a quieter area of Naples. We stayed in VRBO properties in 4 other cities in Italy and this one was the only one that did not meet our expectations.
