Room was clean , construction was taking place close to the room on the property that kept me awake but staff tried to help a little

Pros: called ahead to see if we could check in early and nice person gave us a complementary upgrade so that we could check in. Cons: as we drove up (this resort is massive, we weren't sure where to idle, there was no signage), 3 valets nodded at us but none directed us where to idle until we stopped to ask. Then, 2 valets pointed in different directions. Upon arriving, noticed our toilet seat was dirty, I had to use wet wipes and wipe the dirt/grime/I don't know what. Within an hour of settling in, and having just gotten to nap with my baby, the phone rang loudly, I picked up and someone was outside trying to deliver hangers, but our privacy sign was up. Confused having just been rudely awakened, and baby started crying, I opened the door and the person had walked off and had to return. As I finally regained consciousness, I managed to inform them that I had not called for hangers. They apologized that they got the wrong room. The kitchen had the remains of a bug squashed to the wall. Overall, I noticed the place was less cleanly than our usual 4 star hotel experience. Calls to the front desk were received by someone who was brusque bordering on impolite. We were advised to visit a local attraction that was "15 mins away" when in reality it was more like 30, and they were closed.

Our room was noisy. Water running all night and room next to the A/C units. No curtain liner-so sunrise was our rise.

Really nice experience on grounds that were classic napa golf. Would have been nice had the flue for the fire place been cleaned out before we arrived. Had to wake up at 3am to clear the air in my room.

Awesome!! Accommodations are so nice. Golf courses are great.

The one bedroom cottage was very spacious full of amenities including a golf ball soap. It is unfortunate that the wall was not more insulated as we were able to hear our neighbor having sex.

We enjoyed the hotel, the beautiful grounds and the lovely market with wonderful bakery goods.

We stayed two nights at Silverado. The first night was a Saturday night and we were placed in the tiniest room far away from the main resort on cottage way. Our room was tiny, old and the heater vibrated when it went on. Needless to say we refused to stay there another night especially when paying over $300 a night and celebrating our five year anniversary. We are used to staying in hotels like Bardessono or Villagio in Yountville. So we requested a room change for our second night and boy did it make a difference. We were moved closer to the main resort, had a remodeled room and got a one bedroom suite which was luxurious and amazing. This I would say the rooms are very spotty and it's a beautiful resort if you get a nice, updated room. The grounds are pretty, the lap pool is nice. The gym equipment is a bit outdated. The little market is great also. I would stay here again but would make sure I had a remodeled room the next time! Very important!

Grounds and setting beautiful. Staff great Room very disappointing. Bathroom door a loose sliding shed door. Room small, cramped. Plain, awkward, /poor interior design Room cost for sat night over 400/night Did make an adjustment, but still cost way above value

Great place. The Spa was very relaxing. Great pool.

The pools located away from the mansion are not heated and there aren't any hot tubs. The only tubs are at the mansion and the pay to play spa.

The hotel is fine. Its not luxurious but its clean and the room is spacious. It was good for my stay which was the annual Napa bike ride.

Great location, reasonable price, rooms need some updating.

Went back and forth on choosing this hotel based on previous reviews but so glad we went for it. A beautiful place. Room was renovated and everything was perfect. Staff was amazing and had great suggestions and were over the top helpful. Course was georgeous for morning runs and evening walks. Pool was perfect and the spa was beautiful. Great spot for our ten year anniversary!

Best part about the hotel is its location, easy to access downtown Napa and Silverado Trail but off the main drag for Napa Valley. The grounds are very pretty. They have a small market on site which is quaint and has coffee and Napa cafe food available. Now for the not so nice. The rooms felt new for the mid 1980's. They had two layers of curtains on the window but they did not cover the entire glass. So not only could somebody waking by the driving range see inside at the right angle, but when the sun came out a beam of light shot through the room onto the bed at 6 am. My biggest complaint was when we needed towels. The bridal party for a wedding was using our room to get ready in, and we requested towels via phone. We called in the request and after 30 minutes of waiting our phone rang and the person informed us that nothing could be delivered while our "privacy please" sign was up. Took the sign off and another 10 minutes of waiting before the towels arrived. Then the staff member who brought them started spraying and cleaning the room. What are you doing, please leave while we get dressed! Now let us scramble to get to our wedding on time. Added wedding day stress and confusion where none needed to exist. At check out I expressed my frustration and they apologized...but oddly said the privacy sign situation was not their policy at all and they don't know why it happened. Sadly, I don't feel as if this hotel provides the value for the price we paid.

Great customer service since we arrived, great views to the golf course, and overall good value for your money. Only little complain, kitchen was way very outdated. .

The hotel room was advertised as updated. Upon arrival and check in the room was not updated. The main guest pool area was ok. If you wanted even as a guest to enjoy the pool where the fitness center is located the hotel would charge you $30 - if you did not have a spa appointment.

we booked a deluxe king room and got a mini queen room, barely enough room to open the door and walk around the beds. When we asked the front desk they said oh well, didn't seem to care or want to offer an apology.

My wife and I were invited to an exclusive and thorough winery tour near the Resort. Since I have stayed at the Resort for company business meetings in the past, I felt it would be good for my wife to become familiar with the facilities. We would definitely stay here for future visits to the region.

We had a wonderful weekend in Napa and the location of the Silverado Resort was central to everything and excellent. The front desk staff at the Silverado were great and they could not have been nicer. Our expectations were not met though and I am not sure that we would stay here again. Overall, the hotel/our room was average and the rates were high for what we received.
