This is a fantastic place. We will return. However I do want to mention a few issues we faced. We were not able to check in our room until 4:30pm after being told it would be ready between 2:30-3pm. Also my son did get a very minor cut in the pool area.

Property was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was not running 2 out of the 4 days and there were many child in the hot tub
The room was dirty and not stocked with toiletries. Staff allowed guests to play music at the pool all night. Food at the resort was disappointing.

I checked in with my gf and the room was occupied by another person when we tried to enter. We were given a worst room afterwards.

We stayed in the 2 Queen Beds room, not many options from this facility. We stayed for 3 nights in September 2018 where the resort only has been opened for a month. The facility is beautiful, clean, still have a few constructions going on. Pool, fitness facility and front desk were nice. Our balcony looks over the pool and vineyard on the hillside from the distance. Near the freeway but not too noticeable noise level. Here are a few things I would love for them to improve. Have an ACTUAL breakfast restaurant ON SITE. We have to order room service every morning because the restaurant with breakfast is across the street in the sister facility. Who would want to do that on a vacation??? I would appreciate it if they have toiletry for 3 people when we booked the room for 3 people. The maids kept taking our towels without replacing them. 2 of everything instead of 3. If you want to call yourself a 4-5 star resort, I should not need to call for things, they should be available and not interrupting our stay. Lastly, they are not quite on the map and Ubers/Lyfts drivers would go to the Meritage instead of picking us at the Vista Collina, so that adds up the annoyance after a few days there. Nice touch of sparkling wine upon arrival. Red wine, was delicious, awaited for us in the room. Rose and champagne on the next day. Bottled water are free. Great staffs.
