The perfect get away

Everything from the check in/out process, the proximity to downtown Mystic and every detail in the house was perfect. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can't wait to go back!

Camp Getaway

We came to stay so the kids could go to camp and we could work. This place was excellent! It was the perfect place to work/have a mini vacation. The location to walk to town was amazing.

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely loved the experience here. Wonderful location. House is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Clean and comfy and we had open lines of communication to Debbie if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again in an instant!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

My family of 5 loved our stay at the Captain Burrows home. It was exactly as pictured. Our host was wonderful, the property was immaculate and well-stocked. We could walk to town and were happy to be able to use the grill for burgers to help keep eating out costs down. We would not hesitate to return to the Captain Burrows house if we return to Mystic.

We had a great stay at the Captain Burrow’s House! Debbie is great and we loved sitting outside! The property is in a great location and everything is very walkable to downtown Mystic.

2023 Prior Family Vacation

We enjoyed staying in a historical property with authentic furnishings. It’s beautiful, cozy and very close to Mystic Village and attractions. I would definitely recommend this to future renters.

Family vacation to Mystic

We had a great 4 night stay in Mystic as a family with 2 teenage kids. The house is beautifully decorated, cozy and Debbie thinks of every need you might have so you can truly relax and enjoy the home and Mystic. We had a terrific and relaxing time together; could not be happier we found this home!

Lights on, personal welcome messages and pie waiting for us from property owners. Plenty of supplies provided. Decorated and furnish to blend with the period of the house. Great location. We enjoyed our stay

Very pleasant experience

Our family of 4 adults enjoyed our three night stay over Thanksgiving. The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk into town, including the well-known bakery Sift, and a peaceful view of the water. The 1810 house was in nice condition and contained interesting folk art items that fit well with its history and seaside location. Everything we needed was provided.

Our stay was wonderful. The house charming. Everything was perfect. Well equiped, high quality linens, and no complaints. We enjoyed the short walk to town. We will certianly think about returning next year
