I recently stayed at Vienoula's Garden with two friends for a week. We found the hotel to be wonderfully pleasant; clean and tidy. The hotel staff were polite, friendly and more than happy to help us with whatever we may need. They were extremely accommodating and we felt very much at home. Would definitely return :) thank you for having us!
We stayed here recently and cannot praise the staff, hotel and facilities enough. We would throughly recommend staying there. The staff who run the hotel are lovely, friendly and very helpful. Always willing to accommodate. They also kindly gave us a lift to the airport when the bus didn't come and there were no taxis available! The rooms are cleaned everyday to a good standard and the poolside and hotel areas are very well kept. Breakfast was great with a good choice of continental and plenty to keep you going! The location is great for Mykonos town, down one straight road. We also walked to a few beaches which was fine. We loved our stay and had a wonderful week. Thank you!
Have just returned from a weeks holiday on the Greek island of Mykonos staying at Vienoulas garden hotel. We were greeted on arrival and check in was quick and easy, then shown to our room (46) which was a fairly new addition to the hotel, the room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed, tv in the room and ample wardrobe space there was also a safe in the cupboard and a fridge to use. The bathroom had a large shower and there was a separate toilet. We had doors that opened on to the garden with an outside patio area with table and chairs. Simply perfect for our stay! Breakfast was included in our stay and was simple with plenty of tea, coffee and orange juice with a choice of scrambled eggs or hard boiled plenty of Greek yogurt and a selection of cakes. The pool area was a delight very quiet with ample beds for the time of year, there is also a shaded seating area where you can eat lunch (the Greek salad was very good) there is a fully stocked bar with cocktails on offer or a mythos beer! The staff at the hotel are wonderful and can not do enough for you, Dmitri is always on hand and makes sure all your needs are catered for, with some great recommendations of where to go and restaurants to visit. There is a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket that is well stocked for all your needs or a 10 minute walk into Mykonos town. Just be careful on the walk as there are no paths. Ladies leave your high heels at home! The road can also get quite busy especially in the evening there are a lot of scooters and quad bikes flying around! For a beach to visit we enjoyed Ornos beach a 15 minute walk or you can catch a bus €1.80 I would recommend the bus back as there are some big hills to climb on foot. Would totally recommend this hotel, warm friendly staff, very clean hotel and wonderful stay! Thank you
Stayed here in June and loved it! Hotel staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Dimitri gave us several restaurant recommendations which was very helpful. Location - Very peaceful and quiet but only 10-15 minute walk into Mykonos town. Buses run regularly from Mykonos town great way to get around. Rooms - Our room was fairly small but fine for a week away. There was a fridge in the room which is always handy. Extremely clean. We had a balcony overlooking the gardens. Breakfast - Greek yoghurt was very tasty had it every morning with honey and fruit. Plenty of choice to keep you full until lunch. Pool - Pool area is lovely. Sun beds are very comfortable. If you are looking at staying in Mykonos then do not hesitate to stay here you will have a brilliant time!
Vienoula's is amazing! A peaceful, clean hotel with the most accommodating staff I'eve ever experienced. From the great breakfast (the Greek yogurt, fresh fruit & honey in particular!), to the comfy sun loungers and lovely pool, to the free WiFi throughout, Vienoula's is faultless! It's about a 15 minute walk from the centre of town so is far enough removed from the noise to be tranquil but close enough to wander down every night for food and drinks! Dimitri and Fotini, the owners, were unbelievably accommodating and welcoming giving us recommendations of restaurants to eat at and places to visit, as well as even offering us a lift to a restaurant when our taxi didn't turn up! Every member of staff provided faultless service. Stay here! I really couldn't recommend it enough!
I stayed here with a friend of mine for a week. The hotel is super close to Mykonos town - just 10 mins walk - and right by a bus stop, which is great for doing day trips to other parts of the island (basically £1.50 to go anywhere). The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly and made some great recommendations for things to do. Apart from the breakfast, the food options are limited so we always had lunch & dinner out.
We stayed for a week at the beginning of July. We have travelled a lot in Greece, Italy and the Caribbean and although this is not a luxurious hotel it could not have been better. Amazingly clean, lovely breakfast and the staff and management were very friendly. The hotel is on a busy road but we didn't notice the road from the pool. I understand what people have said about walking back from Chora at night but it is easy to walk in during daylight hours and catch the bus back. The drivers will stop very near to the hotel. Could not recommend enough
Really good breakfast authentic and a nice variety of sweet and savoury - the Greek yogurt was especially good. The Wifi throughout was better than my fiber broadband at home. Nice clean pool area with free towels and very comfortable "free"beds. The Aircon was very good in the rooms at night (it turns off when you take your room key) - Very friendly and helpful staff and owners on site looking after everything. Overall a great short break.
After returning from a 10 day trip in Mykonos at the Vienoula's Garden hotel, We're desperate to return! From start to finish our holiday didn't disappoint. The hotel itself is a beautiful, well kept place, where the rooms, although basic (as Greece is) are meticulously cared for & We were lucky enough to have a pool/sea view room. The pool area is simply perfect for spending the days basking in the beautiful weather, and as it's only a fairly smallish hotel We didn't struggle to secure lounges.Breakfast was included, and although simple, it's what you would expect in Greece. I can't speak highly enough about the kind and caring nature of the staff, they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay to its fullest, therefore nothing seemed too much trouble. My only downside to this hotel, (which is beyond their control), is the hill on which it's situated, it's pretty steep! .... but hey ho, it's great exercise I suppose. It's well worth the stay anyway and would not deter us from visiting again!
Arriving at 1.30am the staff were very welcoming and this continued during our stay. Nothing too much for them and always very helpful. The rooms were a good size and reasonably furnished. Air conditioning was great - and not too noisy at night. Safe was valuables was reassuring. The buffet breakfasts were great, same every day, excpet for the home made cakes that were always interesting and tasty. The pool was never crowded and an enjoyable feature. The one downside was that there could have been more sunshades, although there were plenty of sunbeds. There is a mini-market 200 yards away which was good for buying bottled water - an essential. In terms of location it was a 10/15 minute walk into the town - but not an enjoyable walk as the road has no proper pavement and was reasonably busy. There is a bus available as an alternative but if you are someone who enjoys walking places this was a disadvantage. Apart from concerns about walking down the road, no hesitation in recommending it to others.
