I stayed at the property as part of the tour at the start of May. The property was sufficient in terms of room size, cleanliness and facilities. The staff weren’t overly friendly, could be said some staff were rude. The location is painful. You just like walking up and down hills if you go and it’s not summer peak or spending 7€ to go the 1km to and from the city. The bus is to irregular. There are a range of better properties in Mykonos
An average stay with an amazing breakfast! Rooms are good, amenities are satisfactory, staff is helpful and service is prompt. What I liked the most was the breakfast, though. Felt like home-cooked food as most of it was being prepared right before our eyes. A good variety of options - all of which were delicious.
Though sold to us as a 4 star hotel, I would rate it as a 3 star. They met our needs very well. The New Aeolos Hotel in Mykonos was quite nice. The staff/owners were terrific. They’re did have some trouble locating our reservation, but quickly sorted it out an thanked us with a bottle of wine. The bathrooms are in need of updating, but the room was quit nice with double doors leading out to a balcony. Breakfast was quite minimal. It would have been nice to see more fresh fruit as the hotel was quite close to a fruit market. Hotel felt like it was in a bit of an industrial area, but there was a wonderful coffee shop right across the (busy) road. The walk into town was quite nice once you completed the first 200m of busy road that had no obvious sidewalks.
Front Reception is friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good. The rooms was clean and tidy with a small balcony to sit out with a glass and enjoy the view.It is a 10 minute downhill walk into town and the restaurants, or to the main transport hub for public transport around the island. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a basic 3 star hotel, however, the room had a 6' bed, plenty of storage space, a large fridge and FREE WIFI. The towels were not huge and fluffy, however, they were replaced every single day without request. The bedding was not the finest cotton but hey they changed the bedding every couple of days. The room had a fantastic view over the bay of Chora from which we had a free view of the sunset each evening. The room was cleaned and mopped each day without fail. Do not expect a boutique hotel but expect a comfortable lounge, a small and well stocked bar and a light and airy breakfast room that was spotless and a very well kept pool and area with sunbeds and brollies. Unfortunately the hotel is on a very busy main road BUT the rooms are at the back of the bar and lounge area and the pool. The breakfast is continental with a small choice but we found it was ample to keep us going and you can have as much as you like. This really is a friendly hotel with even the older members of the family around, nothing was too much trouble, from going through the local map and showing local attractions to organising taxis. We didn't do a lot of sight seeing and kept fairly local but we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel and would certainly recommend to friends and family
My mum and daughter stayed here for 1 week on 14th September and we were a little worried after reading some of the negative reviews. No need. This is a was a lovely 3 star hotel. The rooms, although basic were spotlessly clean. The towels were changed every day, the bed linen once during the week. Very clean, spacious pool area with lots of sun-loungers and a beautiful view over the town. All the bedrooms are situated to make the best of the view and wonderful sunsets. The food was good and we ate a very nice simple lunch on the terrace by the pool. The breakfast was simple but again, good and plentiful. The location at the top of town by a main road wasn't much of a problem for us as the bus stop was right outside and taxis were available for the trip back at 8 euros. The advantage of being on the outskirts are the local tavernas that serve excellent food at very good prices if you don't mind a walk along a main road. (Oregano was brilliant and so was Local BBQ just next door). The hotel staff were lovely and so helpful. The only thing we could complain about was the shower which didn't stay in the holder and the shower curtain that stuck to you! All in all a wonderful holiday on a gorgeous island in a lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend.
This is a basic, no-frills hotel but it’s clean, comfortable and quiet. The Front Desk receptionist is friendly and warm. She (forgot to get her name) was patient in sharing with us the different tour package and made recommendation of a day tour which we ultimately booked and thoroughly enjoyed it. The old port is located within walking distance from the hotel but one need to be careful when crossing the busy road. We were blessed to wake up early one morning and bumped into friendly "Anna" who happened to be the owner of the hotel. She was on her to way to do offerings in her family chapel and she invited us to go with her. To be frank, we were trying to understand her as she doesn't converse in English and we figured out what she was saying merely through body language and her warmth. Of course we later confirmed with the receptionist that Anna is indeed the owner. I must say that it was Anna that made us feel like home.
The hotel is located a bit far from the chora of mykonos. However it is almost 5 minutes drive with car. You can have a nice view of the sea from high location. All the staff are really friendly and helpful! Many thanks to the owners of the property, they are a very friendly and welcome couple. The pool was really nice and clean. The hotel is descent for short or business stay, as it is nothing luxury but clean. They can improve the breakfast as a suggestion but the cake was really nice and fresh!
We stayed for 4 days at this hotel. The personnel where very friendly and helpfull. The minus of this hotel was the busy road which was beside the hotel. This hotel has a nice and clean pool. The beds where soft and we'd slept well. The bathroom was okay, enough space to get freshed up. Minus: the curtain was sticking on your body and the shower couldnt hang perfectly on the wall. So you had to held it in your hand. The breakfast was easy but enough choice.
This is a basic, no-frills hotel but it’s clean, comfortable and quiet and its staff are friendly and efficient. It’s not a long walk down into the old port but it does involve walking down and then crossing a pretty busy road. If it wasn’t for that, I’d rate the hotel itself as "Very Good" but the location drops it down a level to "Average".
