I stayed only for one night ... I was in transit otherwise I would have changed hotel immediately! This is not a hotel but something like a very bad guest-house. This is a family run hotel and this is the only positive thing because the family is very kind. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
My advice is to avoid this terrible hotel by all means. All is mediocre there, incl. the attitude of the owners /an older couple/ not able or willing to see the problems. Our greatest concern were permanent sewerage stench in the room, missing furniture on the terrace, noisy A/C devices, weak WiFi with incessant fall-outs and mainly the night riots and noise when the hotel premisses become an ad hoc centre of an escort service dispatching companions to clients. No complaints are however accepted by the reception in the morning /reception closed after 10 pm/.Terrible and dangerous experience for any hotel guest concerned. Never seen elsewhere in Greece, I must add! Nontheless, for us, Ag. Stefanos and its beach was fantastic.
Family’s are not the norm on Mykonos as we have found out and Minas family made a wonderful effort in accommodating us.we came with a 16 month old and a 5 year old. There was a mix up with our booking as the Greek style of booking is by beds not people or children. Thank you lovely Mina family for a trillion efforts. You were wonderful lots of love to you and your family x
Nice hotel, good location-close to the beach-minute walk, there is market, few restaurants and bus stop near the beach. You can also park your car next to hotel.Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean, towels were changed every day..generally it was a nice stay with my family
The location of this hotel is only convenient to go to Angios Stefanos beach (2 minute walk). All night life is very far from this hotel. Otherwise you have to drive to the town centre on a local bus (1.80 Euro,20 min.), ONLY from 9 am until 10 pm... or walk for 45 min - 1 hour on the edge of the road which is not a lot of fun... Also it has a couple of local restaurants to eat, plus small pricey supermarket. Room has a good size with big convenient bed. The shower was small and sprayed water everywhere. Water from the shower sink unloaded directly on the floor – be ready to clean it after every shower. Or your wet steps will be everywhere in the room, lol... TV wasn't working, but I wasn't really interested with that. Wifi was good, most of the day. The breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day - consists of Greek yogurt, some slices of white bread, 2 pieces of butter and jams, 1 slice of cake, orange juice and good coffee. I would personally add at least some fruits to the breakfast to have more variety. Overall, it was good stay!
Just returned from a week at the lovely Mina beach amazing views lovely room and cleaned to perfection every day Mina and her family are lovely people and look after you well and we loved our Greek breakfast every morning
2 stars is maybe a little harsh. Mina Beach is perfectly nice if you are on a budget - there are nicer but pricier places to stay in the locality - it's 2 minutes from one of Mykonos' best beaches, 10 minutes from Mykonos Old Port via bus and there are a few nice restaurants and bars nearby The room we stayed in was basic, as was the daily breakfast (not a lot of variety, but you get what you pay for), the shower area was small but had overall room size was good enough and clean as well. Because Mykonos is so windy the door tended to rattle all night, Which was annoying The staff are friendly and helpful The best thing about the hotel is its location - removed from the hustle of the town, but within easy reach as well.
The family who ownes the hotel is very nice and helpful. They made are stay very comfortable. Beach is literally 2 minutes walk away and there is shop around the corner which is very convenient. There is also a few restaurants and a pub a few minutes walk away. I would definitely be staying here again on my next visit!
Perfectly adequate for the price. Clean rooms, beds are good, air conditioning and safe in wardrobe. The wifi is free and worked well. The breakfast included coffee, toast, yogurt, boiled egg, juice and cake. More than enough to keep you going till lunch time! There is a regular bus service into town nearby and a fabulous beach a stone throw away from the hotel. If you looking for budget then Mina is the place to stay.
I stayed here as part of a tour of the islands. From my room on the upper floor, I had a great view of the local beach which was beautiful. The room was basic but decent enough for two nights. The breakfast was very basic but ok. It isn't a very safe walk into town along the main road, but there is a bus that goes from the corner near the hotel... However you can walk if you want! The other option for getting to town, is to walk to the port and get the little boat into town. It only takes about five or ten mins. If you are looking for a hotel out of the madness of Mykonos town centre, this is a good option and is close to a nice beach with a restaurant and bar if you don't fancy going into town. Not the best of hotels I have stayed in, but definitely not the worst and for a more budget choice, it's perfectly ok.
