Nimbus is a new entry in the highly competitive luxury-hotel market in Mykonos. Their strong point is the combination of luxury services with a cozy and friendly atmosphere that makes your stay very memorable. A perfect wedlock! The hotel’s management and personnel offer on a 24/7 base discrete luxury services, always with a smile on their face and an “inexorable” hunger to satisfy every customer needs! Mykonos is, generally speaking, an expensive tourist attraction. So what you should be looking for is not a cheap place to stay, because there’s none, without big flaws at least, but a place where they respect your hard earned money and they make a tremendous effort to provide you the best summer hospitality! Over here, they don’t want your reservation only. They want you to have the best possible mykonos experience. They care a ton about their customers and they want you to come back! NIMBUS is this exact place. The most “efficient” hotel one might say which loves its clients. Some more specific notes: the hotel is very close to Ag. Stefanos beach, and about 3,5 km from Mykonos new port. They provide transport services, delicious breakfast, a gloriously shaped 3- “colored” pool, topped with an amazing view. The bar and the restaurant are doing a great work providing exotic drinks and tasty foods. Thanassis, the hotel’s manager is the perfect host! Congrats to the rest of the staff as well, great team. Till next time,
We went to mykonos for our honeymoon and stayed at Nimbus hotel. The location wasn’t too far from Mykonos town and it’s very relaxing. We are very happy with our stay at Nimbus. The staff was very friendly and the service was great!! They made sure we were satisfied and received everything we needed. Hotel was also very clean. We felt at home.
I have just returned from a 4 night break at this hotel, the concept for the hotel is great. Luxury accommodation offering any service you could ask for including breakfast of your choice offered in either in your room or by the pool. Our room was lovely, we had travelled as a group of 5 and had a maisonette suite consisting of 3 spacious double rooms, a lounge area and a veranda to die for with a hot tub. Each double room had its open bathroom, hair dryer, safe, slippers, dressing gown and air con unit. However storage was very limited with only a small rail with 8 hangers to store clothes. We managed as only there for 4 nights however if we had been there for longer there would not have been enough space to hang or store clothes. The only other thing that the suite was missing was a table that you could eat at, all the tables were coffee table height and the one morning that we had breakfast in the room two of us sat on the floor while the others ate from plates on their knees. Breakfast in itself was great and offered a variety of items, we went for the Mykonion breakfast most mornings which included eggs, bacon, bread, croissants, mykonion pie, ham, cheese, cake, yogurt, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The only suggestion that I would have here is for both a bowl for the yogurt and a plate for the other food. The pool area was peaceful and well laid out, the sun beds were soooo comfortable and although the bar wasn’t open during our stay all of the staff were happy to get any drinks that we requested. There were also fresh towels on the beds everyday which was a nice touch. The hotel was ideally located, it was a two minute walk to the beach and the tavernas and only a 10 minute drive to Mykonos town. There is a bus that goes every hour from the village which runs back until 10pm in the evening. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and nothing was ever a problem and they would help in anyway they could. Overall our stay was great and with a few tweaks would fulfil the luxury concept that they are aiming for. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.
Currently staying at The Nimbus hotel with my hubby for a anniversary trip. We booked through Expedia and as it’s currently “off season” we got a great deal. The hotel is a short drive from the airport, the complimentary pickup was great as we didn’t have to worry about organising transport. From entering the hotel the staff are so lovely and welcoming. We got an upgrade to a wonderful suite as it was our 15th wedding anniversary. The room is nice and well laid out with a gorgeous private terrace where we were served a delicious breakfast each morning - a lovely touch making you feel very special! They are preparing for the busy season all over Mykonos so there is a lot of prep going on all over (painting and building works) however this didn’t affect us at all! The pool area is lovely and clean and the loungers are very comfortable. Mykonos town is a short taxi ride away (approx 10 euros) or a 50min walk along a busy road! There is also the option of the sea bus which I believe is 2 euro each and takes about 7 minutes from the new port which is opposite the hotel about a 10 min walk. There’s a small supermarket across the way which has a seating area and sells fresh pizza, drinks, sandwiches and snacks and is very nice. If you wish to be in the heart of all the busy action then Mykonos Town is probably a lot busier with many more shops and restaurants but for us it was nice to get away from the crowds each day (it is easter week for the Greeks). We’ve had a great time and would like to especially thank Arsela, Thanasis and Mina for making us feel so welcome and catering to our every need - they even got me flowers after a request from the hubby! Thank you Nimbus!
Honestly I don't know what to think of it. We only stayed one night so we kept our patience. But if we had to stay longer, I would have think about changing hotel... First of all, I guess it is an old Hotel that they try to renovate. Fine. But god ! There's a lot of work to do ! Our room was overall ok... overall... apart from the dusty shower, Tv cables hanging, Fridge and 2 lights down and traces of smashed mosquitos on the walls ! Breakfast is good but really simple.. not enough to improve my opinion. Staff is friendly and helpful though. But what I keep in mind is the gap between the luxury and modern image they try to give and the old and rusty reality behind. Using what's app to order your breakfast, that's nice. But I would have prefered to have my bathroom and lights repared...
I loved my stay here. The hotel is really clean, and is designed so beautifully. It is the perfect place to relax, the sea views are just outstanding it is a slice of heaven. Nikki, the manager couldn’t be more helpful. She organised everything for us and we just texted her our breakfast order every morning and they would bring it to us. It’s a drive from Mýkonos town, but it’s right beside a beautiful peaceful beach and some really authentic restaurants, and the Rocabella hotel. It’s a small operation which I liked, but some others might not like it so much, and want a bar/restaurant on site. Rooms cleaned every day. Will definitely return.
The jacuzzi wasn’t clean !! every day we asked them to clean it but they kept delaying , very hard access to the beach . Bad service and unprofessional manger One day we ordered “egg without bacon“ But they make to us with it !!! Nor respect us at all . Faraway from the old port. Need transportation. Not recommended at all.
We booked through hotel.com and this hotel didn’t have a lot of comments simply because it is brand new. The hotel is very modern, nicely structured a offers a beautiful view on Agios Stefanos and the port. Some parts are still in construction but it didn’t bother us. Our room was always clean and the service was amazing as we rarely find in bigger hotels. There was a jacuzzi in the room, as stated on the website, which made our trip very relaxing. The offer you the possibility to have breakfast anywhere in the hotel along with other helpful services (airport transfer, scooter rental, etc). I really recommend this place to visitors that want to be a bit outside of the town of Mykonos, next to a more authentic beach in a quieter area (took us 5min to go in town with the scooter).
