My stay at this property in Mykonos started with the Reception clerk demanding 2.5 times the property tax than my receipt indicated. When I raised issue to this because I had just paid the same tax in Santorini, the person called their manager, and then gave me, what appeared to be a made-up story about taxes changing since my booking was originally made. There was no or close to no Internet in my room during my entire stay. The only time I could access Internet was if I went down to the reception, even at those times, it was exceedingly patchy. I raised this matter with the manager and owner of the property, thrice. I was assured that a technician had been called, but until the time I left, there was no change in the Internet. The property is beautiful, and matches the listing description. very very clean, has great amenities, parking, pool, and very close to the Ornos Beach and city centre. None of that is untrue. But I did face difficulties as noted. There are no food options available in the hotel, including no breakfast.

El hotel Anixi está ubicado cerca del camino que conecta el pueblo de Mykonos con el sur de la isla y está a unos 400 metros de la playa de Ornos. El personal es muy amable y las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas. Sin dudas lo recomiendo.

The staff are amazing. Dimitra at the front desk is very pleasant to speak with and so is her mother. Close to the beach. 3 min walk. Hotel is clean. Wifi Internet could be better. Hard to get signal in your room. Its solid concrete walls which is hard for wifi signals to go through but that's why there's privacy and it's quiet. My second time there and will come back for sure. This property has incredible views, excellent location close to the beach, multiple dining options, bakeries, cafes, and within walking distance to the bus that takes you directly to Mykonos town. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. They called my wife and I taxis when we needed it and always greeted us when they saw us. You get the authentic Greek feel here and we will stay again whenever we head to Greece! We cannot recommend them enough!

Elena and her dad are so helpful! Elena helped me modify my reservation without charge even when Expedia didn’t confirm with her about the change. The location is about a 10 minute drive away from Mykonos town and the bus about 5 mins walk away from the hotel only comes once or twice an hour so you’ll have to try and time your itinerary otherwise you may be waiting a long time. One thing I didn’t like is how small the shower is. I’m quite small but I could barely move around in the shower without bumping into the tap or the walls. The shower head was also full of green lime scale so that wasn’t that appealing. Also the TV was mostly in Greek with some movies in English with Greek subtitles. Unfortunately there was no microwave to reheat leftover food I had.

Anixi Hotel

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Anixi hotel. The location is very convenient - only 10 minutes to Chora by bus. The bus stop is a few minutes away, but the bus often comes late. The Ornos beach is only a 10-min walk which is nice. There is also a grocery store nearby and 2 bakeries. The hotel has beautiful water views from some rooms. The room we stayed in had a nice patio, but the room needs some updating, especially the bathroom. The height of the bathtub could be an issue for older people trying to get in and out. Adding a few hooks would help as well. Daily maid service was nice. The TV does not have channels in English, but you can find some movies that are in English. There is a mini fridge but no plates or utensils. Breakfast is not included, and it is 15 euros if you eat at the hotel. There is a nice pool. The staff is nice and friendly.

The staff and especially receptionist was really nice and helpful. They helpfully gave bus schedules, directions, and set up my taxi to the airport. The location is pretty good, close to both beaches in Ornos and down the street from the bus stop. If you don’t want to pay Mykonos town prices, this is the accommodation to choose.

Absolutely gorgeous stay, lovely owners, perfectly positioned close enough to the beach but enough distance to be quiet. Blissfully relaxing, very comfortable room and best bathroom we’ve had in Greece, we will be back
