This place stinks!

The whole building stinks from the reception to the individual rooms. The smell gave me headache. The chairs are dirty. The sheets are stained. The furniture is old.

The place is well located, but the standars is rather poor. It was not easy to comunicate with staff since their english was limited. I guess I had to great expectations from the pictures, that does not really give a fair view.

Convient and value for money

Well all reviews mention poor condition, but you should declare your most sincere experience for what you are paying and what you expect. I have stayed many 5* hotels but this furnished 2BHK apartment is excellent value for money, clean, good wifi, room service, clean toilets close proximity to shopping malls, restaurants surrounding etc. people should be realistic for what they pay &what they expect rather criticize otherwise. To me it was best stay with big family on holidays to muscat, highly recommended to families with low budget & big heart.

Finger weg....

Wir hatten 9 Übernachtungen in einem Appartement gebucht. Beim check-in wurde der Übernachtungspreis bereits in bar eingefordert, was ich jedoch ablehnte mit dem Hinweis auf Kartenzahlung, was im weitereb Verlauf jedoch nicht funktionierte. Wir sind nicht zimperlich, aber was uns dann im Appartement erwartete war dann doch etwas zuviel: Die Bettwäsche voller Haare, alle Flächen in der Küche total klebrig und keinerlei Küchenutensilien vorhanden, Fußboden klebrig, der Fernseher fiel am zweiten Tag aus, die Frage nach Ersatz wurde mit einem kurzen "nein" beantwortet, keinerlei Service, am dritten Tag wurde meiner Frau ein Armband aus einer verschlossenen Schachtel im Zimmer geklaut was dem Hotelchef (?) auch nur ein müdes Achselzucken entlockte. Das hat uns dann veranlasst, das Hotel zu verlassen und uns im Ibis in Muscat einzuquartieren. Das Apartement hatte übrigens auch nur ein einziges Fenster zum umbauten Innenhof, zu dem alle Klimaanlagen und Lüftungsanlagen der Badezimmer führten. Was wir auch sehr störend empfanden war der Umstand dass sich ständig augenscheinlich Patienten des schräg gegenüberliegenden Krankenhauses mit teilweise nicht schön anzusehenden Verletzungen auf den Sofas in der Lobby rumlümmelten. Ales in allem keinenfalls empfehlenswert.
