SKYVIEW STATION: Secluded 3-Level Log Cabin w/ Private Trail

Mountain therapy awaits at Skyview Station, a 3-story Log Cabin with lavish leather furnishings, end-of-road seclusion, private loop trail, and views of North GA mountains. Remodeled with cozy upscale furnishings and modern amenities specifically for a larger family or group mountain vacation, the cabin provides plenty of room with 2,700 sf, 6 beds, smart TVs, speedy internet, stocked kitchen, theatre, game room, gas fireplace, firepit, gazebo, wraparound porch and BBQ Grill. The upstairs loft is HUGE, with a 2nd living room and ENCLOSED King primary suite and private balcony.

After an adventure-filled day in nearby towns, the kids can play a game of pool, ping pong or Wii (or their own gaming system), watch a movie in the theatre room, while the foodies whip up dinner with a fully stocked kitchen or grill out on the BBQ. Relax with beautiful vistas and a glass of wine from a local winery or local craft beer, or have some private time swinging, share stories, laughs and moonshine around the fire pit and gazebo area.

--- The Property ---

✔VIEWS Beautiful year-round views of the North Georgia mountains from main level front porch, 3rd floor loft and private balcony off master suite have these mountain views + views of the field beyond the Nottely River, views of gazebo, fire pit and garden area with solar lights in evenings, and views of the garden area from every bedroom

✔GAZEBO l FIRE PIT l GARDEN BRIDGE AREA Gentle walk down to the large fire pit, gazebo, garden area, 4 Adirondack chairs & 2 large benches for seating, 2 Cedar rocking chairs & table made from a TN woodcarver

✔PRIVATE LOOP TRAIL We have out own private loop trail! It's short but rugged, starts right off of the garden bridge area, goes down the property and loops around, ending at entrance to fire pit/gazebo. Green markers mark the trail.

✔END OF ROAD PRIVACY Yes, we're in a nice, normal neighborhood, but you can't tell because our cabin is located at the end of the road, nice and private.
✔TERRAIN The cabin is spread out over 3 levels on a 1.5-acre property surrounded by trees. The unique location is at the end of the road, which means you will have full privacy and won't be disturbed by neighbors while you relax while you enjoy the views. Unlike most mountain spots, our land doesn't 'drop off' with no ability for family to spread out or children to play; instead, the usable land on the property provides ample space for the family to roam around without any restrictions. You can even access the private loop trail, which starts and ends at the gazebo and fire pit area. We have enough space for parking several cars, including under-building parking on the base level with inside access to the 1st level.

Girl’s Getaway

Better than expected! Each room held special details to help you relax and enjoy not only the outdoor environment but inside too. For example, a lamp with bird nest hosting an egg, your choice of flavored coffee pods, 2 Xmas trees, and even Xmas tree imprinted on the tissue. Beautiful home!

Perfect for our Family!

We decided that we wanted to do a destination for our Thanksgiving holiday this year and that we wanted our (mostly) adult children with us. Maria and Dave literally think of almost everything with this beautifully appointed property. It is spotless inside and had room to very comfortably accommodate our family of 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 toddler. Inside and out we kept discovering new things!! Maria reached out and asked if we would like it decorated for Christmas before our arrival (we of course said yes); pictures do not do the decorations justice!! I could go on and on; but do yourself a favor and go see for yourself! The hosts are wonderful communicators and so friendly. We we definitely be back to enjoy this cabin and Murphy again!!

Just what we needed!

My husband and I, along with our children and granddaughter, enjoyed our stay. Murphy is a really interesting town with lots of antiquing and lots of food options to choose from. We went to Mercier Orchards also. The internet works well, phones had great service, and everything about the cabin was perfect! The kids really enjoyed playing guitar hero downstairs, as well as pool and ping pong! We will definitely be back to your cabin! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at the cabin for 2 nights and loved every aspect of it. Everything is labeled perfectly so you can find just what you need. This cabin had all the creature comforts of home and then some. Our 11 year old enjoyed the game room and playing pool with dad. We grilled at the house one night and had everything you could possibly think of to make it an easy process. There was one issue with a dog that kept coming up to the cabin. She wasn’t aggressive, she just barked at us and we couldn’t figure out where she was coming from but when we called Dave and Maria, they were very helpful and apologetic about it. Overall, it was a great experience. The view is spectacular even in the rain. We hope to make this our new mountain vacation spot.
