Westend Hotel

For the price, Hotel Westend does offer you a clean room, a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Do not expect anything more. As I am used to relatively shabby hostels, this was a nice change to me. The hotel does show signs of wear and tear, but as mentioned, it is clean and a good deal for the price and location.

Very small rooms, with a double bed and а cot- you bang your legs wherever you turn yourself. Every morning I was awoken by the vibrating alarm phone of the neighbor next room. The district was not good- dirty, smelly, full with refugees. Small parking- for 6 or 7 cars.

Not the best neighborhood and with no air conditioning had to sleep with the windows open. We faced the street and it was not quiet at all! Bathroom is very small, basically the size of a cruise ship. Internet is sketchy at best and the bed is mushy. That said, it is within walking distance of the main attractions and you are only sleeping there. Would I stay again, no, however, if you're on a tight budget, it would be ok.

Good location, close to the centre. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food. Not a luxurious hotel but very good value for money.

Checked in at gone 1am. Front desk guy was polite, spoke very good English, and gave adequate direction to the room. As per other comments, the lift is very small. One person and some luggage only. Room is small, but fine. Few small issues, but at its price, acceptable. First the bed was two singles pushed together. One was very firm (to my liking), the other was exceptionally soft. This made sleeping across them somewhat uncomfortable, the quilts were also in the Nordic style of two singles on a double. The shower was also exceptionally small, but the pressure and temperature controls were fantastic. The room had two very large windows that could be opened fully, but with mismatched curtains. WiFi was exceptionally poor. Gone midnight, unable to stream a YouTube video in the lowest quality. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from hackerbrücke station, despite the current tram works disabling a crossing point in the road. It is about 15-20 minutes walk from the old town, or one train from the nearest two stations. hackerbrücke does not take amex or other credit cards according to the train companies website, but the similarly close u-bahn station does (may need to walk down the platform to the alternative entrance. All in all an acceptable hotel, especially given the price.

This is an average hotel which we selected on price and convenience. That is what we got. But, still, very happy with the choice. The room was clean and the service was of a high standard. Parking is a hit and miss. First in gets to park and it costs a small amount for overnight. Seeing as we got a spot, we were hesitant to drive out for dinner that night (in case we lost our space), so we found a restaurant a short walk away. Soooooo happy with the find, Augustiner Braustube (see separate review).

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Oktoberfest and an economical option. However, I did not find it very comfortable with my single room being a very small chamber under the roof. For this it was overpriced. Breakfast was quite good, though.

Lift was small so only one person with luggage can go at one time. Rooms are ok, very clean and you are able to open the window for some fresh air. Near the hotel there are few shops to eat and also a halal kebab restaurant just 400 meters walk from the hotel itself.

We chose this hotel for its good position, but I think that if we go back to München we will choose it again most of all because we felt like at home. Comfortable beds and rooms, kind and nice people at the reception. The breakfast is rich and you can choose between salty or sweet food. Also, you can make yourself coffee and other hot beverages at any time of the day (for free!), this is what we loved about the hotel. We hope to come back soon to this beautiful town!

it is a small hotel but it is very nice. The building is a little bit sad looking From the outside, but inside it is full of colours. The staff is friendly and kind, the room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast available for 8€, Very nice the free coffee\ tea to go all day long. I recommend it! It is cheap and clean! It is very near the zob bus station, and you can reach the centre of the city by bus, or in 30 minutes walking 🚶 .
