Very clean, very helpful and friendly (and bilingual) staff. Great location if you plan to visit Dachau and Munich. We drove to Dachau and took the train to the Alt Stadt.

Easily one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip, too bad we only stayed here for a night. The location is a bit outside the city center (northwest to central Munich), so if you don't have a car, it might not be the most accessible. That wasn't a problem for us and we got additional parking too at the back of the hotel. The rooms were really clean & comfy with modern aesthetics and we were surprised to see how 'American' the rooms looked considering the spacious size and decor. One thing that would have made it 10/10 would be a coffee/espresso maker in the room. The staff at the reception was friendly, and even gave us restaurant recommendations. It wasn't the cheapest but no complaints considering the quality of the hotel and it was during Oktoberfest. Would definitely stay again

Favorite Hotel on Our European Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay! We felt at home even as we were a world away from home. The loft with a single bed next to a bunk bed was perfect for the kids and the balcony was a nice, quiet place to enjoy. Everyone was so nice and accommodating during our stay and the family run feel of the place made the experience even more welcoming. Be sure to say hi to Miau (the cat) 🐈‍⬛ whom welcomed us and typified the personalized experience of staying here. As Texans that had never visited a country in which English is not the primary language, we stayed at the perfect place to help us navigate all of our questions as we learned German terms and even unfamiliar systems. There was no extra charge for all of our questions to the staff. 😊 The place was extremely clean and the accommodations appeared all new. There are a number of places within walking distance including a bakery/breakfast cafe and grocery stores. We look forward to visiting sometime again later in life and hope to stay here again. A wonderful staff that we wish only the best and hope someone reading this will make the decision to let them host you for a wonderful visit/experience.

The Westside Hotel Garney was a great hotel for our second stop of our Europe trip of 5 countries. We stayed in the family suite with a bunk and 1 twin split level & was perfect for our family of 5. The room was spacious and modern and clean. We walked down the road for a Bavarian dinner and there is a bakery we also walked to both mornings as we passed on the breakfast from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for families traveling to / through Munich.

2-storey apartment-like hotel room with double bed and small kitchenette downstairs and bunk bed + single bed upstairs. Breakfast buffet available. Located some distance away from city centre in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. However, more accessible by car rather than public transport. Staff were very nice and helpful.
