This is a modern, very very clean hotel with a young and stylish ambience and a fine and smiling staff. Although officially rated as a four-star establishment, I would rate them five-star in a number of catagories: design, food, staff excellence and cleanliness. I was here on business and it was very productive. Breakfast is worth a special word: wonderful. Their honey is served in the original honeycomb, bread is fresh, pepper is rough cut. They are open until 1030 (which is unusual and very nice) and coffee is available in the dining room until noon.
a nice place with free fast wifi the staff is super friendly and the fact that the road in front of the hotel is a free parking is just amazing, true that nothing is around the hotel but a 10 -20 mins drive will solve everything. bed was comfy AC was great for the value of money this place was just fantastic
In a week business stay, enjoyed very much this place. Simple, but enough and all things in a excelente quality: rooms, amenities, restaurant, breakfast, drinks and the most important: a friendly environment. I´d like to come back again!
I stayed for one night and continued to the meeting at the hotel. Hotel is on really good location; the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Also breakfast was good. Meeting rooms are well organized, break time etc. Just to say that check in takes time like 15 minutes and airconditions were out of order during my stay; but they brought vantilator as a solution. That is good for hotel.
I cannot praise this hotel and their staff enough! My husband stayed several times during business trips so he suggested The Rilano when our family visited Munich. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable—this included an early check in. We landed in Munich in the early morning and were traveling with young children. Waiting until the standard check-in time with exhausted children can be a challenge. Their response was to immediately make a room available for us. The breakfast was also wonderful—with tasty warm and cold options. This is the only hotel I will consider for our next trip to Munich.
Due to overbooking I was downgraded to a 3* room (I booked 4*). The room was ok although small (especially the bed, something like 110 x 200cm). In the morning there was a lot of noise from the street (I slept with a window open). To compensate for the downgrade I received free breakfast and parking, so it was ok. Otherwise breakfast is expensive (€16) - in Germany I'm used to breakfast which is normally included in the room rate. What was not OK though was the check-out: although 3 counters were open, there was a queue in front of each. I waited for about 7 mins. but the queue was still the same. I didn't have more time to wait so I just put the key onto the front desk informing the receptionist that I will leave now and come back in the afternoon. Incredible that still in 2017 a hotel doesn't manage to make the check-out process more efficient - there is nothing more annoying than having to wait to check out! When I came back in the afternoon the payment was already deducted from my credit card (so basically the queue in the morning was really for nothing...) so I just asked for a print-out of the invoice. The receptionist unfortunately was very unfriendly (different person than in the morning) and didn't even say good-bye when I left. So overall the hotel itself is ok, but one needs to be aware that they overbook (first time I had this situation in a hotel - I thought this bad habit just exists at airlines!) and be ready for a long wait at check-out. I really hope that hotel management will work on improving this.
Just one night here, plus a full-day meeting in one of their conference rooms. Great experience! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating front desk staff, and perfectly attentive support for our meeting. Breakfast was excellent, as far as I was concerned, and the lunch buffet was certainly above average, with good salad + protein alternatives. Hotel room was actually better than many business hotels in Europe, with enough space for a large-sized work desk and enclosed closets/storage for both hanging & folded items. I found that I really liked the vestibule area at the entry. Excellent design! The shower was a high point, with both an overhead "rain"-style head plus a highly adjustable hand-held. (I would totally buy that hand-held shower if I could find it in the US.) The folding half-door (so common in Europe) leaked far less than most of them do. Lots of good seating alternatives in the common areas. Nicely furnished, decorated & maintained. Really good natural light in the lobby & other common areas. Only 1 disappointment, and it's a small matter: the windows in my room were incredibly dirty. And that's a shame, because it was a sunny day and the view would have been very nice otherwise. And the windows open fully & easily from the inside (another nice bit, BTW), so it would only take a few minutes a week to keep them clean. Would definitely return and recommend for business purposes.
1. we paid almost 300eur per night 2. We were moved to the Nonrenovated part of the hotel 3. Room was not 24m2 as it suppose to 4. No iron and ironing board , no service , no list who did what 5. Stuff missing basic management principles 6. Restaurant that was suppose to be sensual experience was a joke with drunk waiters!!! I will never visit this place again and I do not recommend to anyone who doesn't want to have a feeling their money was wasted !! Regards
Rilano Hotel Munich We stayed in this hotel on 25th September 2015! This hotel is located in Domagkstrabe a good 20-30 min ride to city center. The tram station is 2 blocks from hotel , and we had to change to metro line at Freiheit to go to city center. There is a metro station too, less than a km by walk from the hotel. Reception was friendly. Rooms were huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with widespread! We booked this hotel as it happenned to be Octoberfest time and all the city hotels were crowded. When we planned our trip to Munich ,we had failed to note that octoberfest begins middle of september and ends in first week of october! We being teetotalers, this hotel tucked away from the busy city and festival place, turned out to be a boon. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was fine dining. Chef and stewards paid personal attention to guests! I would give 4.5 stars for the ambience and hospitality of the dining area. There is another small pasta restaurant as an attachment to the hotel where we ate delicious pasta in the afternoon. However , I will not recommend this hotel to families on sight seeing visit, if they have to use public transport, as the road leading to the hotel from the tram and metro stations is very dark and lonely in the night. Ok for tourists with their own vehicle.
I booked two hotel for my Germany trip through booking.com and one of them was Rilano! A few weeks before my trip, I realized I can't make it to Germany so I had to cancel my bookings but I mistakenly only cancelled one of them! Couple weeks later, I realize that my credit card is gonna bar charged the no show cost (%90 of the whole price)! I call Rilano and I explain the situation to them! They were very very nice and told me I don't have to pay anything just this time! Thanks Rilano! If you're reading this: please pay attention to your booking details...
