Movenpick Hotel Munchen-Airport

Had a wonderful dinner in the garden. Room was spacious and modern. Shuttle bus was early for our 430 am ride to airport. Wonderful experience!

Breakfast expensive (24 euros) and not included in room rate. Shuttle 8 euros.

When we arrived we were sorry to see that the hotel was so far away from Munich. However the hotel was wonderful. Since we were there with YMT, the breakfast was included and it was the best of all the hotels we stayed at. One suggestion would be that guest should be required to wear something when they use the steam room and/or the sauna. We do not think you should be made to feel uncomfortable when using the amenities.

Parking expensive 11 euros. Most downtown is only 6 euros max./breakfast extremely overpriced 22euros per person.

Overall clean and well designed. Didn't appreciate that the hotel shuttle is an additional charge and you are far from the central train transportation hub, which is right at the airport. If I visited again and only had a few days, I would pay a little extra to stay at the airport and have direct access to the transportation hub. If I was staying longer I would rather get a hotel room in the heart of the city.

Worst wi-fi I ever experienced in dozens of hotels. System seems under repair and hotel did not charge for connection. But at an airport where you need to download airline tickets, this failure is not acceptable. Dinner was nice, however.

Overall great experience. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke and we were promptly moved to a clean room at our request. Restaurant had great food (had a gruyere burger, wife had a Parmesan brûlée). Stayed overnight as we were flying out of Munich. Good location close to airport. Charged for parking when we thought it would be included (11E).

I will chose this hotel again as a wonderful ending to a visit in Munich while waiting for my return flight to the US.

We stayed for one night as we had an early flight out of Munich in the morning. This is advertised as a hotel airport, but it was still a EUR20 cab ride to the hotel. The shuttle was EUR16 for two people to get back. Thats an additional 36 Euros just to get to and from the airport. On top of that, it is essentially located in a business park, which felt like a ghost town on a Friday afternoon. The only non-hotel restaurant within walking distance had a note on the door saying it was closed for 9 months! Two super markets so if you dont want to pay 15 euros for a sandwich at Movenpick, be prepared for a cold dinner from the super market. The room was nice, we had a lot of TV channels, and staff were friendly. However we also had to pay 12 Euros for 24 hours of wifi. There is something to be said about paying extra to stay at an actual on-site airport hotel. It is worth the extra cost to do that instead of staying at Movenpick. I would only stay at Movenpick if I were a business traveler who would be working in that business park, and I was expensing my meals (expensive diner in the hotel). e.g. Breakfast was a "2 for 1" special for 22 euros in the morning. That means that regularly, breakfast is 22 euros a person. 22! Its clear that the hotel knows you are in the middle of nowhere and will do what they can to ensure your money is spent AT the hotel.

Very professionnal staffs, it is a very nice hotel well situated for an overnight stop, if you are travelling. The room was very good, clean and well decorated. I am very satisfied. Your review site is not very friendly, I suggest you change it because it does frustrate people when they trying to put in review title something and it keeps saying sorry that name is already taken.

My fiends and I have stayed in this hotel several times. It is conveniently located near MUC (especially if you have an early flight from Munich). I should mention a few things: comfortable and clean rooms, great service, friendly staff.

Dead fly on the floor of one of our rooms! Otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. The waitstaff are very slow and inefficient as well as unfriendly. Food is mediocre at best.

great hotel, very clean, new, great restaurant for dinner and breakfast. shuttle is 8 euros per person to the airport we paid 16 euros for a taxi to come to hotel so if you are more than 2 people, taxi is cheaper.

Room was great, close to airport. Could have used an additional comfortable chair as it was a double room. Disapointed in charge for WiFi. Two euros for one hour. Stayed at less expensive hotels where it was free. Dining was expensive. Nabbed an inexpensive and delicious Italian meal a few blocks away.

I had an 18-hour layover between flights in Munich. I could not have chosen a better place to stay the night. Everything was perfect ... right down to the rubber duck they provided for your bath. The hotel is located in a very pleasant countryside location, just minutes from the airport. The food was delicious, both supper and breakfast. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. If I ever return to Munich, I will stay at Hotel Moevenpick again. But next time, I will stay longer.

We upgraded to the new section upon arrival for an additional 10 Euros and were quite pleased with our room. The meal in the restaurant was one of the best we had in Germany.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was sparkling clean, modern, and so, so, comfortable. So many extras for the price. The restaurant on premises was top notch. Chefs prepared the food which was wonderful and reasonably priced. All staff professional and friendly. Took a walk into a beautiful and well kept village. Made me want to walk more but ran out of time. Stayed in some real surprise dives previously. I always go back.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was pretty decent. A taxi between the hotel and airport is about 18 euros, but they have a shuttle that leaves for the airport every half hour for 8 euros. The breakfast buffet was pretty expensive so I skipped it.

Our flight to Munich was canceled due to weather within the 24 hour period of our reservation. There was no way I had the ability to cancel or modify the reservation. After my trip, they refused to offer me a refund or voucher, even though the weather was out of my control. Would never stay there when I travel because of this non-forgiving policy.

Very comfortable stay. The only drawback - the very expensive breakfast, but we found a nearby grocery store and enjoyed yogurt and croissants in our room.

Dear guest Thank you for your great review on Orbitz and staying with us. In addition to our extensive breakfast buffet with warm dishes, freshly prepared according to your wishes, juices, mineral water, tea and coffee specialties as much as you like, fresh fruits, cereals, cold cuts, lukewarm pastry, different sorts of bread and bread rolls and much more, we also offer an à la carte breakfast menu, from which you can choose also different small breakfasts. Also we have some accommodation offers where the breakfast buffet is already included. Please understand that we are not able to offer the shuttle service free of charge because it is operated by an external company. We hope to welcome you soon again. Kindest regards Ulrich Zimmermann General Manager
