For the cost of the room, I think it was a pretty budget hotel. The room was tiny, but functional. However, there was chipped paint on the floor, some bugs on the bathroom floor, and the room was in general disrepair. The breakfast - that I thought was included - looked good, though I didn’t partake. I did appreciate the free beer in the mini bar and the complimentary pretzel upon arrival. Overall, it was just so-so for me.

Had no hot water for tea, asked for this was spoken to rudely! UK always have a kettle and tea bags/coffee etc in the rooms. We asked for a fan, which had a mind of its own! The curtains were coming off the rails! Water backed up in sink. Found sliver fish in the changing rooms in sauna area

The nearby neighborhood was beautiful. The service was amazing; there was breakfast every morning and bread left out during the evening. I will rate it 4-stars overall due to the hours the front desk is open. As a tourist, it's hard to check-in at 3pm (local time) while carrying all of your bags and no staff to answer phones. A member from the custodial team was able to help me with my luggage. So I am thankful for that.

The Dormero Hotel is located in a quiet and clean suburban area, conveniently close to a local bakery, grocery stores, and takeaways, with public transport to Munich city center taking about 30-40 minutes. We spent three nights there at the end of September. Check-in was easy, but communication at the reception faced some English language barriers. Our room was spacious, well-heated, and nicely decorated. However, it lacked a kettle for coffee or tea, though it did have a mini fridge, hairdryer, and a spacious wardrobe. Unfortunately, we had negative experiences with room cleaning. Despite requesting daily towel replacements and cleaning, our room was never serviced during our stay. We often had to ask for towels and toilet paper at the reception, where staff struggled with English and were frequently unavailable. Check-out was simple; we just dropped the key in a box. Overall, the hotel has a good location, but the housekeeping issues were disappointing.

I booked the Dormero for 3 nights for oktobertest and I was shocked the location or the hotel is 1 hour from the city center. It was advertised as 4 star hotel and near the city center. The hotel reception hours are from 1pm to 11pm and when you call the number during office hours no one picks up the call. Do not stay in this hotel because they are charging 4 star hotel rates and if you get moved to the adjacent property without your consent the bad hotel experience will happen and can ruin your oktoberfest holiday. When we checked in the front desk at 830pm the rep informed us it was the decision of their boss without our consent that we are being moved to the adjacent property that houses refugees. The adjacent property does not look like a 4 star hotel but instead a dormitory or apartment type with no front desk, no telephone in the room, there were no bath towels or glasses and worst the view from the room was bland and the lamps were not working. We were informed the hotel was full and repeated it was the boss decision. The property we stayed in didnt feel safe and we had to endure staying for 1 night since there were no more available hotels for the night and transportation was limited . For our safety and sanity we checked out the next day and moved to a better hotel. This has been a horrible and traumatic experience for seasoned travelers. We immediately called Expedia to report this unacceptable bad hotel experience and expedia attempted several times to call the

Small hotel in a small town, rooms are fine but there were some issues. Elevator was down, so having to carry luggage up the stairs was not fun. Room was not that clean and did not have soap or shampoo. Outside of that the little town close by was neat and very niche.

Liked the large bed, though there was no mattress protector and the mattress was fairly dirty and had many stains. Guests and staff smoke frequently out front of the hotel and it wafts in the windows of the room, which I understand is a european custom, but as an asthmatic it was very difficult to breathe and there was no ventilation other than the windows in the rooms (no AC, no recirculating vents at all). Staff were ok but not very efficient, lighting options in the room were weird and there was no lowlight evening lighting, all very bright club/disco lighting. Ok if you want to be outside of town on the S-Bahn route for easy access to city center

The staff all seem pretty clueless, except the taller black porter who checked us in the first day. He was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the rest of the stay was a disappointment. The mattress was filthy and the sheets too small to stay tucked in. Cleaning staff barged in our room despite having a do not disturb on the door handle. Every night the overnight staff sat beneath our window yelling and smoking and there is no AC or ventilation in the room without the windows open. The toilet was slowly leaking onto the bathroom floor creating a constant puddle. No shampoo or lotion products, only a harsh “hand wash” in the shower. Really weird, variable color unpleasant lighting in the room, with no low light, or dimmable option for evening. I definitely wouldn't say it stands up to the #stayfancy hashtags posted all over their walls. But if #bedifferent means “be inhospitable and rude” then I guess they lived up to that. It is currently 2 AM and I wasn't going to bother with a review even but the smoke and the noise outside our window along with the staff’s response to a request for quiet being to loudly start singing at us, I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
