We stayed on the club floor in room 2141. There were three major issues. 1. The entire 21st floor had a strong smell of fried foods as there was a kitchen on this floor. 2. The rooms on the club floor are not updated, look old and unattractive. 3. Past midnight there was loud music sound from outside of the hotel that permeated through the window due to cracked seals and improper sound proofing. Our complaints were heard but there was no credible response or follow up by the hotel manager next day.
Everything was lovely, staff was helpful and attentive.
Great overall. I believe they are in the process of renovating floor by floor-- they need to. The views are spectacular, the staff is great.
Great service. Good food. Lovely room. Quiet location. Relaxing spa. Did I mention the great service?
Best location in the burbs of Mumbai. Even though we were supposed to check out at noon and our flight to the states was several hours later, hotel staff extended our stay till 900:pm for half price. Very courteous staff. Great location. Will definitely stay there again.
From our initial arrival to every time we returned from being out, we were treated wonderfully by the staff. The room was large and the bathroom massive and gorgeous. And the small touches like flowers in the room, turndown service, and animal-sculpted towels made everything perfect. And the pool, jacuzzi, and spa are well-kept as well, with staff there to help you with anything you need.
Total extravagant experience. Like nothing I've ever experienced before.
I drove to Taj from Pune, since I wanted a place to stay the night I'd chosen Taj to experience their world renowned services. The hotel is amazing, with comfortable rooms. I was not happy with their staff since they were not friendly. That is something I did not expect with the Taj. Elderly looking people and Foreign nationals were well taken care of right in front of me. I expected more from the staff.
The rooms were good size. The location is good for nightlife, but difficult for sightseeing. The service was excellent. The spa is being renovated.
