We booked the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai for our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience! The staff were friendly and professional. The location is surreal near the seaside with a breathtaking view. Our favourite place was by the pool or in one of the many restaurants!

Avoid at all costs...very unfriendly staff. They keep harassing guests. Never solve any issues. Never clean the room. They take forever to do any sort of laundry. Will take twenty minutes to serve a minuscule cup of tea at breakfast. When concierge was asked what places he would recommend to visit around Mumbai he basically had no idea. He literally said 'you can Google things and look at photos.' Another concierge kept smiling and laughing while I complained my room hadn't been cleaned that day. Avoid avoid avoid.

I loved it. My experience was amazing. The only issue was that Taj charged me extra for using the minibar. I didn't know that using the mini bar was an additional charge and not included in the stay.
