I have been a very regular guest of accor hotels group:But I have started to stay at NOVOTEL JUHU/Mumbai for more than a year now.I am very happy to state that I am feeling very comfortable in this top class property. The friendliness of the staff, quailit and food+Service in all the resturants and other outlets is top class.House keeping department is doing a great job.IT people are always available in the time of need..Mr humble request to the whole staff is to keep up the job and the standard. My Special thanks to Dhaval,Miss Shalaka,Allwyn,Diego,Ruchira and Priyanka. It does not mean that the other staff is not douing their job propery.NO ALL ARE GREAT PEOPLE TO BE RESPECTED.Things are working very well under the leadership of GM Manish Dayya:
Beautiful juhu beach property armed with arrogant staff at the reception spoils the fun at checking in itself. No wonder it's a very mesmerizing property with delicious variety in food.Wifi had its own moods, was coming and going.Towels were old and dirty.Roomservice was very slow.Overall it's due to their fixed client age of Indigo air hostess which have been growing with their aircraft fleet, the attitude of staff is indifferent and arrogant with all their guests including them.Highly overpriced to repeat again in near future.
Room Cleanliness and stay was comfortable. Food has got a good spread and was very nice. WIFI was pathetic. Once they corrected. But till I left, there was no attention despite sharing the feedback. There are no News papers as they offer e-papers and magazines. But with poor WiFi connectivity, i was finding it difficult to update the news
Novotel Hotel juhu beautifully designs, management,I had seen celebrities over there.Pool,restaurant,caffee.all interior well designed.but yeah rooms r too small. But v enjoyed a lot.italian restaurant is good.food tempting.still I remembered the taste, mouthwatering.Aamchi Mumbai.
If you are planning a trip to Mumbai and have plans to stay Novotel Juhu, i would suggest think again. Dirty Room Stinky toilet Dust outside room No response after calling house keeping for more than 30 min. Invariable you are not there on the breakfast list until you have asked for it in the beginning, almost 5-10 people were fighting in morning along my side. Even after no consumption from minibar i was charged, and when i asked they removed the charges, Most of the time, the attendants don't know the responses of your queries, seems the only instruction that they have is, "let me check sir, i will get back". So if you don't want to waste your hard earned money just for location, i would not suggest wasting money here. You can find better options nearby in less price as well.
1. Even after booking the king size room, I was asked if I wanna settle for a twin bedroom, why would you offer a twin bedroom to a single person???? 2. The hotel needs repairing, everything including the electricity sockets, plumbing was coming out, the slider door in the shower doesn't completely close. 3. I booked the hotel for the pool, the day I checked in the pool was under work and there was an 'in maintenance' sign on! Why would you not tell that to the guest upfront? 4. I woke up to the sound of drilling on a weekend! Who does that? No earplugs offered, went to ask for a room change and no response, Prithvi the guy on the counter makes such bad faces as if he is made to work against his will. Kindly pay the poor chap more so that he can start taking interest in his work. 5. the food is overrated for the price charged. 6. Mostly the lawn and garden is rented for marriages so the lifts are packed, and drunk uncles ask you random questions in the lift. 7. the restaurant gadda la vida is very overpriced with a minimum charge of 1200 and two beers costing about 2000 ($40) 8. the cleanliness and hygiene is an overall issue, LIZARDS and moths are common on the hotel wall 9. The cab drivers and the staff bad-mouth the hotel, saying it's only running because of its location and tie-up with airlines 10. I ASKED THE RECEPTION TO EMAIL THE BILL, which they said YES TO, but I haven't yet been mailed the BILL. This is the worst example you can set!
Awesome place to stay in Mumbai. This hotel gives a great ocean view. it has a bar on beach and an amazing swimming pool. Most of the major attractions are near by to this hotel. This is situated on famous juhu beach.Rooms are comfortable and stay was awesome.
Having stayed in nearby hotels and other hotels outside India, must mention that this hotel needs to look into cleanliness and conditions of furniture particularly sofas in Lobby. Also needs to improve the speed in providing items to the room, when requested. Room was quite nice. Breakfast caters to Indian appetite and great. Transportation to/fro Airport was efficient.
we have been a regular india trips and we do love staying at Novotel Juhu for its great locations and some really exceptional customers service , some key staff members will ensure that your stay is enjoyed to the fullest possible pay, we loved Sachin - D M and also Kumar of Dinning area to to hightlight these people , we have been to this property in the last 6 years almost 7 or times and they seems to get better and better . The two area of concern from last review which hasnt change at all is the bar Gadda which still doesnt focus on house guest enough and service is slow here , they urgently need to review the team here and the 2nd area is the rooms needs to get an upgrade urgently when we compare to any other 4 or 5 star place around
Novotel Juhu was a luxurious hotel in the league of JW Mariott and The Leele but in the last few years, the hotel has been slipping. Although still reputable, the hotel could do better in terms of the attention to detail in the rooms and bathrooms. The poolside restaurant is a plus with a seaview.
