I've been staying at the Novotel since 2005 and is always my preferred stay when I'm in Mumbai. I cannot fault the staff who are always so welcoming and the standard of the food at all of the restaurants is outstanding. Granted it is maybe time for the rooms to be renovated as it is clear that some have not been decorated for sometime, but overall always a very pleasant and comfortable stay. If I have one complaint about the hotel is the view from your window when situated at the side of the hotel and not fortunate to have a full sea view. Since I can remember there is an area which can only be described as a cesspit. No attempt has been made to clean it up or in fact drain the whole thing and turn it in to a recreation area. Although it doesn't belong to the hotel the fact that the rooms overlook this horrendous sight which must be a health hazard, you would think they would attempt to clean it up.
We booked rook through Accor and it was flawless experience in terms of booking. Rooms are neat and clean and maintain 5 star standard. Food is very good with number of options. It's very near to Juhu chowpati and beach facing. Highly recommended for travellers.
I have traveled to mumbai several times and usually stay near Colaba however I wanted to be in a convenient location this time as I normally tend to travel between Juhu and Bandra. The location of this hotel is a bit off to the side which is great because it keeps you away from all the noise and provides more of a resort type of feel. The property is massive it has a beautiful pool/bar area that looks onto the beach. It's nice to sit there sip on a drink and watch the sunset. The rooms are decent they do need renovation. I was checked into a room which smelt like old carpet (hard to explain). I had let front desk know of the situation spoke with Abhishek and within two days they put me in a room with hardwood. The breakfast is excellent they have so many options. I even spotted a few celebrities walking around during my stay. I did my research and read multiple reviews before booking Novotel. My major concern was having a nice washroom and good customer service. The staff are great at this hotel and very accommodating. I had a good time and will definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Location wise the property was ideal, got room almost facing the Sea. In room utilities, requirements probably looks like to be compromising. May be they are cost conscious. Servicing staff was really good but check in counter staff didnt impress. Had to wait for 15 min at the counter without a response from staff who were supposed to attend.Buffet spread was good.
Awesome location on beach. Ideal for morning and evening walk and late night walks too. Good buffet spread. LoVely poolside bar. Cancellation Rules suck. Billing method too. Room service bad..Rooms too do not have basic things like coffee tea nooks and bath amenities poor.
Novotel Juhu Beach is a bit of curate's egg - good in parts, not so good in parts. The positives include a superb location (just beside the beach in an area with nice vibes) & some really helpful staff members. The areas where the hotel can do better include a refurbishment of the rooms and the restaurant & availability of staff members who can usher you with a smile to the breakfast tables.
Each and every staff of the hotel is very nice and accommodating. Excellent service in every venues. Specially recommending the Italian restaurant Olio, chef Glen Andrades is amazing along with his team of good chefs. Great food and service. Special thank to Manager and Chef Glen who took care of us with special care..
I liked the view from Novotel better than JW Juhu. They have a very nice coffee shop overlooking the beach view right next to the poolside. So amazing !! I def will stay next time , this time was just visiting a friend.
The sea facing rooms give you a nice view of the Arabian Sea, and one can go for a walk on the beach, but at times the sea has thrown back the waste that people throw in it. Otherwise a good business hotel in a good location
Novotel Juhu has always been a satisfying stay. This time was exceptional only because Shalaka, Guest Relation Manager went out of her way to make the stay without any hassle and overcame the problem I had posed to her. Thanks Shalaka, you will be one more reason to come back.
