This property is in prime Juhu area & it is common to see Bollywood personalities here. Rooms, Food, Pool etc are good & gives a good feel of Mumbai. Juhu beach, ISKCON temple etc is close by. Had a 2 day Conference here & the facilities are quite good with no complaints whatsoever.
I checked in on 24 December. After a tiring journey with 2 children, from the moment I walked into the hotel I experienced poor service. There were so many people trying to check and only 2 people at the desk. Other people were pushing in and the staff were serving them. Even after checking in after 2, my sister in laws wasn’t ready which I thought was really poor. I had emailed several times before I had arrived about having a spare bed in the room. This still had not been done. I called several times for towels and iron which took another several calls to appear. Breakfast At breakfast, there were never any glasses by the juices, when asked for tea It took ages. There were several other customers complaining about the same thing. Checking out When my parents went to check out my dad was accused he had had stuff from the mini and wanted to charge him. My dad said many times he hadn’t and if he had he would happily pay but I thought it was really poor that he was being accused. Also when asking them to bring our luggage down again 40 minutes later it still wasn’t down. We had someone picking us up from Gujarat so had made it clear to them how urgent this was. We paid quite a lot of money to stay at this hotel for 2 nights between 3 rooms and just feel that the service we got and the quality was very poor. I would recommend people to look at other hotels if looking to stay in the juhu area!
Hotel is nice enough. Located right by Juhu Beach. Staff’s like Shalaka and Shakti from Front Desk set’s a benchmark for Hospitality Industry.. AC in the room was not working properly however it was fixed later.. Renovation require in the room.. Overall very good stay.. Thanks Nehal Sarda
Novotel is degrading time to time. This time mine stay was worst ever. They had new year eve party which was of no standard at all. Over crowded and worst in food quality and variety. The food level on the eve was below 3 star level. Room service was on much delayed mode, you have to remind minimum of 4-5 times then only they come. At the time of booking extra bed was added to my room fare but they denied that they don’t have any extra bed available. Over all if any one going for any event or celebration this is the worst choice. Only advantage they have is Beach Property only. Rest I can say worst..... No standard at all. Extra HYPED PROPERTY
Started off our trip by staying here. We had 3 rooms and all 3 had issues. Doors not working, lights not working. Took a lot of calls to get things sorted. Service at breakfast is terrible. To top it all up they overcharged us on the bill and took a lot of calls to get that sorted. Definitely not returning.
Overall our stay at these hotel was very very good. Hotel rooms very good. 1) We were persuated by their front line team leader Mr Sachin to stay at hotel for extra days by lowering the room rate. 31st Dec 2017 and 21st Jan to 25th Jan 2018. We would give Mr Sachin 10 out 10 for his exelent team leader skills. 2) Sous Chef Mr JP Evangelist was very good. As we are Gujarati vege he made us dokras,Khadvis, Patras , Jalebs, Ghathia & etc.He was very very good. We would give him 10 out of 10.
This Novotel is poorly maintained, we booked 2 rooms for a family stay and both had numerous stains, plaster patches on the walls; their was dirt on all window platforms and the furniture had numerous chips and tears. On check in there was a very distinct lack of welcome and very different attitude from all the other hotels we have stayed in in India which can best be described as indifferent and completely uninterested in any guest requests or concerns. Whilst there, there was a continuous stream of irate guests at reception and a minimal number of hapless staff trying to cope, the management really do need to invest in both staff and training as this was by far the worst Novotel experience we have had and this is certainly way off it's advertised 5 star rating.
Overall decent place to stay. Rooms need upgrading to match the external common area’s ambience. AC needs to be really switched off properly. Otherwise, good service, WiFi connection and breakfast spread.
This property should not be accredited with 5 start category. Rooms are so shabby with stains and broken furniture that one would wonder if I have come to the right place. Bathroom has broken shower..I took my daughter to have a pleasant holiday which got jeopardise with my stay in Novotel. If you ask for water or any other service, it’s guaranteed to come after half an hour that too after reminder. I strongly recommend not to stay in this property. Adding few pictures. Guys now it’s ur call if u want to stay in this property.
I enjoy this place since long. My child wanted to enjoy Beach and my wife wanted to enjoy Food. This is the best place I could find. Staff is courteous and pretty seasoned professional, each one knows their job well.
